Javier Diago's Online Review Report Card

I was very hesitant to see him after my previous doctor retired. I am glad I see him now and have not only recommended him, but got my husband to switch to him. He is patient and kind. He isn’t pushy or harsh, but gentle and nurturing. He always takes his time, even on telemed and phone appointments. He has seen me in public with my children and not only recognized me, but reminded me that he saw me with the kids at my next visit. He was happy to change up several of my regular maintenance meds and encouraged me to see my cardiologist for tests when I wanted to change those meds. I am very happy and will not be changing doctors again.

Visited this office because it was the only one that had availability on a Friday afternoon. I was coming down with a high fever, but it wasn't too serious for an emergency room visit. Knowing that i was coming in as a walk in I was prepared for a wait, ended up being there from 3-5:30 PM. The service with their NP was great (reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1), she scheduled me for a 1 week followup visit. I set my appt for the earliest which is 7:15 am because I wanted to avoid having to wait. I get there at 7 am just so they can have me sitting there until 7:30 that's when I went up to the window to ask why I haven't been called in if my appt was for 7:15, gentleman tells me I still have 2 other people waiting in front of me and couldn't even give me a time that I will be seen. So what is the point of having appointments if you won't respect them? I ended up asking him to cancel my appointment, I wasted 2 hours once, I was not going to do that again for some test results. If you are okay with wasting almost an ENTIRE day at a doctors office, then this office is just for you.

My 3 visit and I am very happy

It was so hard to find a good primary care doctor at 35 weeks in Lakeland fl. Other Doctors made me wait week until they even denied me. It’s stressful moving from NY to find out you can’t get prenatal care. This office didn’t make me wait at all. Very clean, great staff and awesome doctor! Already recommended to 2 new clients.

I was a little stressed to come because of all the bad reviews but I was called back in about 5 minutes everyone was extremely nice. Dr Javier was very attentive and made sure that I was taken care of. I had been trying to get an OB appointment at the actual hospital and he went out his way to have his staff call them and get the appointment on the books. Excellent customer service.

It was my first visit and the office was perfect. The doctor was very nice and thorough.

When I went to see Dr. Diago for the first time, the reviews were questionable, but we decided to go because I've been in the emergency room a few times and they wanted me to visit my PCP right away and I didn't have one available. Although we went reluctantly because of the reviews, I had an awesome experience from the moment I walked in. The staff was courteous and Dr. Diago was so compassionate and thorough. He asked a lot of questions and gave me good advice. I been in his office three times and never had a problem. I highly recommend him.

My husband has been seeing this doctor for well over a year. He had lab last August and told he was borderline diabetic. His blood sugar at that time was 117. However, it is now May 30,2019 and that doctor has never checked his blood work since. He has high cholesterol which is not controlled but my real issue is that he ended up in the ER 2 weeks ago with a blood sugar so high it wouldn't register! Here we are 2 weeks later and after another visit to urgent care and his sugars are still high. Tomorrow we see another doctor! He obviously doesn't care about his patients! My husband will never go back to him and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone!!

I saw him only 4 times 2 of the visits I was sent to the hospital ER for nothing and the other two times trying to make him fill my prescription because he lost all my information the first visit so I had to repeat my self a lot my case is so complicated on him and it was hard for him to make an easy decision sorry Dr diago but I am really disappointed on you
