Jean Knapps's Online Review Report Card

I was very impressed with Dr. Knapps and his staff. They were very professional and I'm glad I went to Dr. Knapps for my problem. I feel like he sincerely offered advice and appreciated his friendly disposition. I will definitely return if needed.

DOCTOR IS ALWAYS RECEPTIVE TO MY QUESTIONS AND HONEST ABOUT HIS OBSERVATION.

Dr Knapps is an awesome surgeon. During my first visit he explained my options to me very carefully in a way I completely understand. He was honest and up-front in saying recovery time was about 4-6 weeks. A very painful surgery. We decided to go forward with the surgery. So glad I did but he was so right in it being painful. He is such a caring Dr and makes sure you know exactly what he will be doing. He is very gental and has a great bedside manner. I just had my two week follow up visit with him and got all my reports handed to me for my records without asking for them. I would refer anyone to Dr Knapps. He is an all around awesome Dr. Thank you Dr. Knapps.

Excellent physician, very caring and knowledgeable

This is one of the worst offices I have had to deal with. It is impossible to get to talk to anyone in the office as one has to go through an "answering service". I am a fellow colon rectal surgeon and this doctor does not have the decency to call me back to discuss a common patient that is soon to have major abdominal surgery. My office has been trying to get the relevant notes for about a week. This is unprofessional and certainly not the standard of care for this area of Texas.

Dr Knapps fixed an umbilical hernia for me yesterday…. Simply an amazing doctor - from the moment I arrived the hospital - houston northwest - it was super simple. Three incisions which are not big - the hernia is gone - zero pain since leaving the hospital - I doubt I will have any scaring - even so / the incisions are not in visible areas ….. would definitely recommend this guy! - Curtis Swaringam

Dr Knapps was easy to talk too, listened to what I had to say and then made sure I felt confident in the plan he wanted to take and the outcome he expected.

Come prepared to wait beyond your scheduled time this practice was running easily an hour behind and unfortunately I had a nine month old baby I brought with me. Hubby had to work, they did take me pretty soon after I complained but baby fell asleep on me in the office. Doctor was great though very considerate, kind and even offered to help get the door etc since I had the stroller. I’d recommend this doctor. I’d also advise plan to spend significant time there. They tell you to arrive twenty minutes before your scheduled time. So,.. I was a bit irritated as I’d not planned on a two plus hour ordeal. It was about an hour and a half from when I arrived promptly before I was seen and then a good twenty minutes with the physician so it was a two hour quest. Not what I’d planned for.

It was my first visit to Dr.Jean Knapps clinic,and I am really happy that he was able to help me with my painful Hemmoroids. He is very professional, and I hope to continue my treatment under his care. Also he speaks Spanish too it was a plus for me. I was embarrassed at the beguining, because of my medical situation,but he and his staff makes me to fell better.
