I will never recommend dr.kozak.. I had back surgery 3 years ago with him and I am still in pain. I should have never went there to begin with. He never saw me when I was in the hospital.. Never gave me any type of physical therapy. And all of the follow ups that I went to all he did was git was give me more pain pills. Now I can't even in workout or stand too long without my without my legs going numb. Worst experience ever! Thank you for making my life full of misery and pain.REPLY TO OFFICE:How many follow ups do I need to go to? I went to at least 4 different ones and continuously told them what was happening and he did nothing. I do not trust him at all. Back surgery is scary enough and being left the way I am is the worst. Why in the world would I go back to someone I have no trust or faith in????

Dr. Kozak takes the time to understand what pain you are having. He is not quick to jump to surgery. He goes through a very thorough evaluation before deciding what the correct solution is.

This was my second visit to Dr Kozak, he’s been my husbands Dr. for years. As always he’s prompt, professional, straightforward with a great bedside manner, and getting to the bottom of my issue promptly. I highly recommend Dr.Kozak and trust him with my care.

Dr. Kozak is the best spine surgeon that I know of and that my colleagues know of.He has proven that he has the knowledge and skill to perform this delicate surgery (spinal fusion) successfully.I know this because he has performed 2 surgeries on my neck due to my compressed vertebrae from old age. Both surgeries were very successful. He used a technique that did not require wearing a neck brace for 6 weeks like some other surgeons.

Had a Laminotomy and Microdiscectomy with Dr Kozak in December. His manner and style is through and professional. His PA Billy responded to my questions post surgery quickly. Staff at Texas Orthopedic Hospital was efficient and caring. Thanks to RN Selma pre-op for taking care of me. She has a great touch getting IV started. I have all ready recommended Dr Kozak and Texas Orthopedic Hospital three times since my surgery. I consulted with three surgeons on my illness, I chose Dr Kozak to operate on me.

Not only is Dr Kozak a quality professional, his staff and the texas orthopedic hospital was unbelievable. Had a disc replaced in my neck and was back at work in two weeks and felt ready for work after 3 days. He performs miracles. His staff of two out perform any place I have ever been to.
