Terrible. Prescribed me Linzess which is for constipation. It causes Diarrhea. My issue IS Diarrhea. When I questioned him he did not like it and referred me to my PCP. My doctored was surprised he prescribed that medication to me. He also did my colonoscopy with no anesthesia…he just administered some sedation himself which didn’t work and I was awake the entire procedure. Horrible experience!!

Dr. Hughes took his time to evaluate me and listened to my concerns. It was the first time that I'd seen him, and I was very impressed. Looking forward to being his patient for years to come!

Terrible experience. Did not receive enough sedation and felt the colonoscopy pain. Was prescribed medication for constipation and my symptom is diarrhea. The medication reviews literally say sit by the toilet as it causes extreme diarrhea. He doesn’t listen to his patients. I have extreme stomach cramping and he wouldn’t give me anything for this. He told me to follow up with my PCP. There are medications for IBS-D but for some reason he wouldn’t prescribe them for me.

Very disappointed with this GI doctor. I had a colonoscopy and wasn't aware that he didn't use an anesthesiologist. He administers sedatives himself and I wasn't given enough and it was very painful. He also prescribed a medication that causes me to have a fast heart rate. When I told him this he told me to keep taking it. When I asked if he could prescribe something for the severe cramping and diarrhea that I was having with the IBS, he prescribed me something for constipation. I told him I have never been constipated a day in my life! The reviews for the medication he prescribed me literally said it causes diarrhea. I already have that issue...he didn't like when I questioned him on that and told me to go see my PCP. So now here I am searching for another GI doctor. All this wasted time and money...
