I was looking for a doctor and of course I didn’t fulfill my search after going to John. He walked in and spoke, then looked at my file on the computer and asked me was I still taking the same medicines, I said to him no I told your nurse what medicines I’m taking now. Before I can finish that sentence he cut me off by saying, I didn’t see my nurse. So I didn’t say anything and waiting on him to ask the next question, then he asked was I still taking a certain medicine he had on file, so I asked, what medicine you said and he proceeded with raising his voice to repeat the medicine, I said I’m not heard of hearing, I just don’t know the medicine you are asking me about, so then he took his monitor and turned it to me pushing it hard with an attitude, (as if I would still know what medicine that was) I told him I guess not because I don’t know what medicine that is, so he got silent for about 2 mins then told me what medicine it was. John never responded to me with what my issue I came in for, even after I told him my symptoms I was having. I have never experienced ANY doctor to treat me like he’s done. This was a horrible visit/experience. I still attend Kelsey-Seybold, just not that “doctor “.

I've been searching for a new doctor lately and think I've just found one. Typically, I settle for much older type of doctors, mainly in their 60's & 70's, because of the wisdom and experience they possess. But, one eventually gets tired of doctors constantly retiring! But, after researching & watching almost a hundred videos of Houston area doctors, I'm planning on selecting this one, Dr Ruelas. I've been impressed with what I have researched and seen so far with his genuine positive attitude, personality, along with his critical, analytical, and his logical way of thinking when he makes a medical diagnosis and recommendation and the way he effectively communicates this clearly and precisely. Will definitely be making an appointment in the next couple of weeks for a new patient physical!

Expensive!! Worst of all is the surprise bill because they tell you your insurance will cover, you get billed and all of a sudden not everything is covered. I was better off going somewhere else without insurance.
