Do yourself a faVor and find another doc. I came as a new patient, because had a little pain in my left shoullder. Never saw dr before, and been taken straight for x-rays? This is not acceptable, without dr introducing himself, doing evalUAtion and at least ask me what haappened, send me straight for xrays so hE can make more mmoney!? I don't have another explanation.will be filing a complaint to insurance company. You don't treat your pt like that!
Very personable and explained things well.
His nurse came in to ask preliminary questions about my daughter's wrist and after we waited for about 20-30 minutes Dr. Velez came in and asked the same questions. He never introduced himself and I was left wondering who he was. It wasn't until I was able to read his name on his white coat (after he took my daughter away for an x-ray) that I figured out he was the doctor I came to see. My visit was basically him taking an x-ray, reading it, and making a referral to a sports rehab facility.
amazing
Dr. Velez is a terrible, uncaring doctor. When I visited him regarding pain in my knees and hip, he simply gave me a prescription for heel lifts and shoved me out the door. He had no concern for my health, and was a typical Kelsey-Seybold in-and-out-as-quickly-as-possible doctor. I wish I could rate him lower. He's a disgrace to his profession.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
