I have been seeing Dr Nickell for about 15 years. He is always very professional and explains things in a manner that you can understand them. He is extremely thorough and has picked up on other issues (outside of his specialty) during his reviews and procedures leading to him recommending further action or to see an additional, different specialist. He has coordinated well with other consulting Drs to determine the best overall treatments. He does not try to push procedures nor treatments on you, rather discusses various options to consider and explains potential outcomes, risks and benefits. He always demonstrates a sincere concern as well as impressing urgency when it is required. He has called me out of normal hours to discuss items as soon as he has results and recommendations. He answers all questions honestly, thoroughly and with understanding and compassion. I place my trust in him 100%.

Dr. Nickell is a highly experienced, analytical, and caring physician who explains clinical matters well to a patient. He's quite professional as wells as pleasant. Additionally, he's open to a patient's questions and is willing to engage in a discussion about any of his/her concerns.

Been a patient for years. Every visit he waits until he sits down in the patient room with me before bothering to take a few minutes to read my patient history. More than once he had the wrong patient info open, had to stop him after he started talking about someone else's history, then wait more as he found my actual info. Waiting room is always packed, always running behind, always over booked. Enough is enough, my time is valuable too Sir.

Dr. Nickell has been my doctor for last 5 years as I suffer from kidney stones. Along with my endocrinologist, they were able to find a balance of medication and diet to arrest the formation of stones. Great surgeon with caring bedside manner and follow up. I recommend him to everyone.

I’ve been a patient for 20 years. Dr Nickell is one of the best Doctors I’ve used. He is very knowledgeable, and he spends the time to completely explain the medical situation to me. He was instrumental in guiding me through my prostate cancer treatment nearly 20 years ago. Praise God I am still cancer free.
