Yes! He and the entire staff are Amazing … they are Priceless! Customer service is Awesome and Dr Rice himself is the Absolute Best!!???? Lab technician Mr. Robert is Absolutely the Greatest one of a kind always concerned that all is with his patients.. thank You Mr. Robert??
have been trying to get a appointment for 3 days now because he is my hematologist. Can't even get through to the clinic. No one answers and calls go to call service which is rude themselves. Dr is very arrogant and will bad mouth you in your visit. Have had 2 blood clots and was literally told "I dont know what's going on". Told by call service that they get a lot of calls during the day because they don't answer their phones. Do not recommend this dr or office.
Had an Awesome Experience with him , my first acquaintance with him was @ the hospital and I can say he has by far the the best bedside & most professional manners of his patients I've seen or had in a long , long time not to also mention his knowledge & expertise in knowing and treating my case. Thank You & GOD Bless You Doctor Rice!!!! I'm Blessed to see my grandson turn 6 & my children graduate in there professions with bachelors & masters "But Most of All I'm still here"🙏🙏👍. Thank you for taking my case.
Provides excellent care. We have not had any problems with scheduling or provision of care.
New patient appointment was acceptable. Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy went well. Office staff is unbelievable. In January I started calling to move forward with getting the bone marrow test done. It took calling numerous times for a couple of weeks to finally have someone return my call. They do not answer their phones, they just have a rude "answering service". I have been calling for weeks now to get a copy of my labs for another doctor and can not get a return call. I've been leaving messages basically begging to get a copy of the results. I have even let them know that I'll be glad to drive up there (approximately) an hour away to pick them up just please call me back and let me know how. I have an enlarged spleen, dark stool and these lab results are critical for my GI doctor to review. I have never ever been disregarded as a patient like this before. Absolutely unacceptable. I FINALLY just put in a call to the patient advocate. Maybe they will be able to help me.
Excellent
Went to see Dr Lawrence Rice at Methodist Hospital for symptoms I've had for many months, skin rashes, Low blood platelets. mass in my neck starting to form. He completely missed my diagnosis of Lymphoma and showed little interest in trying to do any research of my symptoms. Told me my platelet levels were normal that day and to get another blood test in three more months. I would never go back to this guy.
Dr. Rice was my mother's physician for over 15 years. He is a brilliant hematologist & took wonderful care of her! Our family is grateful to him for the many years he gave my Mother!! You could not meet a finer physician anywhere!! Highly recommended. In addition, his staff is caring & attentive as well!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
