Dr. Ankoma-Sey is a great doctor, from knowledge, working with other teams for a different need of the patient to bedside manner.

The way this office operates is completely unacceptable. I’ve witnessed the stress this clinic has caused my girlfriend. Between being hung up on, ignored, and having appointments missed, their lack of professionalism has directly interfered with her care. No patient should have to 'chase' an office manager like Lupe just to get basic care. Be wary of this place.

I’ve had a completely different experience with this clinic and feel compelled to share it. The doctors are not only highly competent, but also attentive, thorough, and genuinely invested in their patients’ well-being. Every appointment I’ve had—both in-person and virtual—has been handled professionally and efficiently. The front desk team, have always been courteous and responsive in my interactions. Scheduling has been straightforward, calls have been returned in a timely manner, and any questions I’ve had were addressed clearly and respectfully. On one occasion when I needed clarification about test results, the staff followed up promptly and ensured I understood everything. I’ve found the team to be organized and committed to patient care. Running a busy clinic is no small task, but in my experience, this office operates with professionalism and care. The staff has treated me with respect, and I’ve felt supported throughout my care. For anyone looking for skilled doctors and a dependable administrative team, this clinic has been a positive and reliable choice.

I want to start off by saying , Just bc somebody had “a completely different experience” does NOT erase my VERY unprofessional experience (since multiple 5 star reviews have been posted after mine). The doctors themselves are competent, but Lupe (office manager) and Miss Simpson (her superior) AND the office staff, are an absolute nightmare and make the whole clinic look terrible. From the start, I was treated with rude attitudes and complete disregard for patient care. One of the front desk staff literally hung up on me while I was trying to schedule an appointment. When I escalated to Lupe about this unprofessional behavior, she was just as rude and dismissive. Taking it even higher to Miss Simpson made no difference her attitude was just as bad. Nobody at this office cares how they treat patients. The communication is the worst I have ever experienced. Phones are never answered, and when you finally get through, you’re met with more attitude. I once scheduled a virtual appointment, and when the time came, no one called me. I had to reach out multiple times to finally get a response and reschedule. Waiting for test results or answers to medical questions, you have to call over and over because you will be ignored unless you chase them relentlessly. The office staff are unprofessional, slow, and shady nothing gets done unless you chase them, and even then, you get attitude. I’ve never experienced such a careless, disrespectful, and incompetent office staff. This place was such a headache, And because of all of that, I decided not to continue care with them. There are plenty of clinics with good doctors AND professional staff this is not one of them.

Dr. Ankoma Sey has been my doctor for many years. I was diagnosed with PBC 24 years ago and I’m 57 today. I see him regularly despite having to travel 5 hours by car. His nurse Ana is quick to answer my emails when I have a question or a problem. They are by far the best group of Liver specialists in my opinion.
