List of Lucia Sandoval's Reviews
I had the same experiences as many of those who have left the reviews. She dismissed any of my concerns in person, however the biggest issue I’ve had so far has been with my prescriptions online. She prescribed a year supplies of a medication to me and 5 months in suddenly it’s asking for her approval. I’ve requested her approval since a WEEK ago. Called in every single day and each time I was told something different. They lied saying they sent over the authorization to my pharmacy last Friday. today I get a call from one of her nurses telling me she never approved anything and because she changed offices I will now have to wait one more week until she authorizes my prescription. This has been such a hassle and I’m so over it. DO NOT book with her. It’s nothing but problems, and many of the people who work with her are just as dismissive and passive aggressive.
This is perhaps the single worst doctor experience I have ever had as a person of size. I am so happy this woman is retiring because she can no longer do harm to people. Lucia Sandoval is the reason I now check google reviews on doctors before scheduling. I expressed concerns about family issues for thyroid, blood clots, and current arthritis issues in my knees. She was extremely cold and critical, only focusing on my weight when this woman barely examined me. She seemed to be put out that she had to do her job, and she barely touched me. This woman is also fat, keep that in mind. When “examining” my neck, she pinched the skin on my double chin and pulled it back, then let go. Most doctors put a couple fingers on your neck to feel for swelling, most doctors wear gloves also. Farm animals at auction get more regard than this woman gives to plus size patients.
This review is for my older mom. She went to see this doctor and my mom felt ignored and dismissed. She did not offer any solutions or references for my mom’s issues. She was quick to interject and make her feel like an inconvenience. She needs to understand that she isn’t dealing with a simple job. People’s health are at fish and it’s sad to see that a lot of people are complaining about the same thing yet Kelsey-Seybold does not hold her accountable. Please avoid her.
I did not enjoy my visit with this doctor at all. I’ve been with Kelsey since a teen and I’m very grown now and this is by far “THE WORST” visit and experience at Kelsey ever. This lady seemed not to have had any interest in what’s going on with my injury at all. I addressed many areas of concern and she didn’t even put in orders to have them all addressed. She didn’t ask many questions and the ones asked didn’t have a lot to even do with my current problem. Her energy was a negative zero. No smile no nothing. Her energy actually made me feel worse while I was there. She just didn’t listen nor was she interested in listening. It’s depressing for me to think my company may send me back for a follow up with her. I’m going to call and see if I can get another doctor. This visit makes me not want to even go back to the main Campus for anything and I know that’s not right. Horrible, horrible and unhappy experience for me. I pray God gives her the care and energy she needs to have for her patients. Maybe she should look into retirement. I’m just saying.
Dr. Sandoval was very kind. She listened to my concerns, and helped me get what I needed.
Office is convenient
I went in for severe shoulder pain that was causing me to not be able to move my arm that had lasted a week. It was a bit better at the time I saw her, but was still giving me problems. She treated me like my pain was not real. Despite the MA going over each of my medications with me before the appointment, Dr. Sandoval glanced at my list of medications and pointedly asked me about four of them that could be considered controversial, and I felt like she may have been implying that I was drug seeking. This made me feel uncomfortable, as did her awful bedside manner and lack of warmth. I went in because I was afraid that I might’ve torn my shoulder and wanted imaging and a physical exam, not medication. She was dismissive of my pain and seemed unconcerned and acted as if I was wasting her time. All of my other Kelsey-Seybold providers have been great, but this was a bad experience. Would not recommend; all of the other providers at Main Campus are great, so go see them instead.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
