List of Luis H. Camacho's Reviews
Dr.Camacho has been a great doctor. He explains everything and took care of my mom while she was battling colon cancer. All Glory to God for putting doctor camacho in our paths. My mom is now CANCER FREE!!! Amen
Dr Camacho has to be one of the kindest doctors I have ever seen. He spent close to an hour with me explaining what was going on and my options moving forward. He was very caring and understanding. I would 100% recommend him.
I have been suffering for about 6 weeks after being discharged from the hospital in Florida. Not a single doctor could get me seen. Thankfully, the caring team that he has scheduled me for the following day after I arrived in Texas. He’s intelligent, but has a great listening ear. He takes all of the data and draws a picture on a dry erase board so that you can see what he’s concluding. I was stunned. Just fantastic. I had labs done immediately after the visit downstairs. Just incredible care, the kind that you don’t see anymore.
We came from a quack factory in Beaumont and Dr camacho was a breathe of fresh air. I feel he cares about me and I have a lot of confidence in his care.
Dr. Camacho is a very kind and compassionate man. He cares about his patients and their well-being. His staff is very kind.
The best there is.
Dr. Camacho is kind, compassionate and truly cares about his patients. He is down to earth. As a healthcare professional I understand what he was says but he takes time to explain to my spouse. We never feel rushed during our appointments. He is A+ in my book.
He is indeed one of the nicest and kindest doctors I’ve met during my cancer treatment in the US. He is always smiling, listening, giving full attention and comprehensive inform. Showing true care and compassion. His team were great and very attentive and caring too. Forever grateful.
My wife was supposed to see him for an appointment, and we waited for more than an hour. Didn't even meet the guy
So I had absolutely the WORSE experience with Dr. Camacho! But he did me a favor because I ended up going to MD Anderson for treatment instead of him. I saw Dr. Camacho about 3 years ago. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and picked him because of his affiliation with MD Anderson. First appointment be was great. Nice, made me feel like I was in good hands. My second appointment with him was God AWFUL and I will never forget it! As I’m waiting to hear my results from my MRIs and other imaging, he got a phone call and answered it. Which I completely understand he’s an important person. However, when you’re having an appointment with someone about their results of their cancer findings I think it’s absolutely crucial you hold your calls and focus on the patient who is anxiously waiting to hear their results. Also the phone call Dr. Camacho had was in spanish and he didn’t think we’d understood Spanish. So we know that his conversation wasn’t as “important” as he said it was. Basically some guy was lost in the medical center and needed directions. They should have called the front desk for something like that! We asked him politely to give his attention to us and he completely lost it on us! I don’t know if he was having a bad day or what. But I was in tears because I just wanted to hear my results. I left his office not feeling worthy of his time or even worthy of living! I know that sounds dramatic, but I was scared for my life. Cancer is not something my family is use to. I don’t know if Dr. Camacho ever thinks about that day. But it is one I’ll never forget. He was just awful!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
