List of Madhureeta Achari's Reviews
Dr. Achari has been my neuro for over 9 years. She is AMAZING. I went from having migraines that kept me in bed for days to having maybe 1 every few months. She listens to you and that is something that is hard to find in a neurologist. I will for always be thankful for her.
I used to be a patient of Dr. Achari for about five years and loved her. However, everything changed when she opened her own practice/the pandemic. First, I found myself begging her for my migraine injections. She didn't want to treat me due to covid cases being high but they keep me out of the ER! Second, her new staff are awful! They improperly billed me, were rude, messed up appointments, completely lacked empathy, etc. I finally moved on to a new practice after being in tears every three months begging my doctor to treat me and then arguing with her staff because of issues with billing, etc. The new practice was negatively contributing to my migraines and no one seemed to care.
Wonderful Kind Thorough.
I was willing to be a cash patient when she stopped taking insurance. We were told ZOOM charges would be $150 an appointment. When I was very sick she started charging me $500 per hour. This practice was not made clear to me until we'd racked up several thousand dollars in charges. Unfortunately, I was too sick to notice and it was paid. I'm very disappointed in her. Surely she is not THAT hard up for money.
Easily the best doctor I've ever been to. She is 45 minutes from me and worth the drive. She has the best bedside manner, and truly looks at the overall picture of your health and does not just throw medicine your way. I have been seeing her 10 years and every time I see her, she takes her time with me and makes sure all my questions are answered. I have referred countless people to her and will continue to do so. Her staff is also always amazing and is SO helpful.
Dr. Achari is caring, thorough, and knowledgeable. I truly enjoyed my office visits and the care she provided was top notch. I only wish she accepted my insurance provider. Finding a new doctor has been a challenge.
I had a virtual appt. with Dr. Achari and initially she made a great impression. Excellent bedside manner, attentive and seemed extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated that she was willing to test for things that other doctors had neglected to look into. After my second appt, Achari was supposed to update my chart and send me a referral to another specialist. I have contacted the office and messaged through the portal over six times and the doctor has not done either of those things and it has been over a month. I do not feel this was the fault of the office staff. I have never been completely ignored and dismissed by any doctor for something that could’ve been easily done in a week or two. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and would NOT recommend this neurologist to anyone looking for consistent care or treatment.
Absolutely loved my visits with Dr. Achari and miss not having to go see her anymore. Great listener, great advisor! She was almost like a psychologist as well, listening to my personal problems and gripes and making suggestions. I loved it! Her assistant is awesome as well. Saw Dr. Achari regularly for one year. Went on Google to look for her number to make an appointment for my father who has Dementia but I see now she has moved. Regardless, great experience. I highly recommend her!
When I started with Dr. Achari she accepted my insurance and my bill was reasonable. However, after my last visit I received a bill at full cost because she decided she will no longer accept my insurance. I was not happy with this, but paid it anyway because what could I do. When I tried to call and pay (because there is no online payment option) the office hours are only until 2pm Monday - Thursday, and until noon on Fridays, which is very inconvenient. As I voiced my frustration with the high bill last time I spoke with her office, I have now received notice of termination of doctor / patient relationship. She was a pleasant lady at the beginning but now I feel she is petty and a little full of herself as a private practice. My advice, find another doctor.
Dr. “Rita” Achari is by far the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is truly one of the most kind and compassionate doctors on this world. She is a true expert in neurology and goes out of her way to ensure the best outcomes and treatments for her patients. After years of meeting with crude and disingenuous neurologists for my rare nerve disease, I finally found Dr. Rita and have never considered switching. Unfortunately due to my insurance, she is unable to provide me service at this time but as soon as that is fixed I will return. Dr. Achari is also very active in her community. She runs Farmer’s markets and teaches others how to eat healthy! Her attitude is one of an outstanding human being. I am proud to know her and be her patient

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
