Dr. Fernandes is absolutely a magnificent Cardiologist. I can’t say enough good things about him. He cares about his patients and answers all of your questions. My father had a stroke and COVID. I can’t thank him enough for how well he’s treated my father. His staff is also very caring and professional. If you ever need a cardiologist I highly recommend him.

As one with an IQ above my shoe size, I am avoiding going into a doctors office thats in a hosptial setting with Covid running loose. When it came time to renew my heart meds Fernandes office insisted on an in person visit, I told them I already had covid once and I dont want it again. They insist on the in person visit because they get paid more. Its a shame this Fernandes is more interested in money than his patients health.

My father had a stroke and he has gone above and beyond to make sure my father is taken care of. He absolutely cares about his patients!! May God always bless you! Dr. Fernandez is a wonderful cardiologist and I find he listens to his patient and follows through with testing that is needed. He does not rush your appt he wants to make sure your questions have been answered. He has been my Dr. for about 3 years and my husband for about 4 years. He has an office in Pearland and one at Southeast Memorial Hermann. I prefer the Pearland Location it is closer to my home. His entire staff is amazing everyone has been wonderful to work with and very helpful to me and super friendly.

Dr Fernandes is a great physician with extensive knowledge, he goes above and beyond to provide me with the best care possible. One thing I really appreciate on him is that he is truly involved in taking care of me. He is genuine and transparent. I know he will tell me what I need to know or do for my best care and he will not hesitate to call my attention for something that needs correction. He spends enough time explaining the plan of care and answer all questions I ask.

Where did my review go? I left a VERY long review of the horrible treatment that my mother received and she ended up passing away before we could transport her to another hospital. ALL of this was because this Dr and his colleagues would NOT listen to us or the patient. I would not recommend him or his colleagues

We were extremely disappointed with this entire experience. They treated my mother poorly during her stress test. They clearly do not have equipment for handicapped people and it was so much more difficult than it should have been. We were told her echo and heart function were normal but then he told us that he wanted to do several procedures to “see” if there was an issue. When asked if these procedures were necessary, we were told that he was not concerned with that. When we told him the reason for her previous stroke, again he stated that he was not concerned with that either. He raised his voice to me a couple of times and that is unacceptable. When asked if my mother was allergic to aspirin, she said that it makes her nose bleed and gives her a rash. He said that is not an allergy and prescribed it for her anyway. He also prescribed a medication to her twice. We were extremely disappointed with all of this. We were hoping that she would be well taken care of but alas she was not.

While Dr Fernandes is a great doctor who is knowledgeable and explained things well, the same cannot be said by his back office staff. My only communication with them was a single past due notice (no bill received) threatening to go to collections with no account number, description of services or other detail. I had to verify the demand for money manually following a hospital visit. Multiple calls to the billing department went unanswered and transferred to a full voicemail box.
