Saved my life, got me to surgery before heart attack.

Dr. Khan introduced himself, listen to my concerns, and his recommendations I felt confident would be in my best concern.

From the very first day I met Dr. Khan, he gave me the personal attention I needed. He was the only one that was able to help me lower my blood pressure. Now my blood pressure is controllable. When both my feet was full of fluid he was the only one that found the medication I needed to take in order to get the fluid down. It has never returned. When you have an appointment at his office the minimum wait time is less than 5-10 minutes. He cares deeply about his patients and always make sure that you understand everything that's going on with your situation before you leave the office. His staff is very professional and eager to assist you at any time. When you call in for a prescription they immediately call the pharmacy for the medication. I had emergency thoriac surgery on August 5, 2017. My blood pressure had been extremely high for many years. Being from Austin, Texas, I had not found a doctor that could control my blood pressure. After my surgery, at Houston Methodist Hospital, several cardiologists would follow up during my recovery period. There I met Dr Kahan, as he did his rounds. I had seen him in emergency attending me. He is quite, caring and remembers patients and their medical issues. A team of doctors came in to evaluate me during my stay and Dr Kahan was part of that team. After the evaluation, the team concluded my problem was servere hypertension. Dr Kahan told me, “I will help you lower your blood pressure to the 120s”. Dr Kahan, then became my doctor. I drive from Austin for my appointments with Dr Kahan as scheduled. For once I live a normal life with my blood pressure under control! My blood pressure readings are excellent. He is the best!!! We are now celebrating one year visiting Dr Kahan for my appointments. He is knowledgeable in his area of expertise, caring, excellent bedside manners and soft spoken. I recommend Dr Kahan to individuals looking for a Cardialogist with integrity and expertise. Happy patient, Austin, TX.

Excellent. He treated me in emergency room and cardiac icu. Very involved and caring. He treats me with respect while educating me about my health issue. His office staff is also kind and caring over the phone. They listen and problem solve with grace.
