NP at Medella diagnosed that ear wax was the cause of severe sinus pain, painful ear ache, and extremely swollen lymph nodes. Recommended treatment ibuprofen. No improvement in two days. Went to PCP who diagnosed a massive sinus and/or ear infection. Recommended treatment Doxycycline. Felt better after one day on antibiotics.

I always have a good experience at Medella. They are open extended hours and holidays. Wait times are short and the staff is friendly.

The FNP we had was very dismissive. Her bed side manner was rude. We had a telehealth visit and not once looked at the camera. My daughter had a 103-104 fever and just passed it on like nothing because we had said we took a at home Covid test and was negative. She asked if we had gotten a flu test and we said no. But did not recommend one. I asked for tamiflu “ well it could be flu, but idk what’s going on in your area”. Figured she would have at least maybe asked us to come in for a flu test. Fever , cough, sore throat, flu like symptoms and all I was going to get was cough medicine. I said thank you at the end of the call and all I got was a “yeah” and hung right up. This a stressful times for parents when there kids are at 104 on fever. Not a simple 100.4 but 104. If the FNP hated that she had to work on Easter weekend then pic a different profession. No need to be rude to parents that are worried about their kids.

Everyone was so friendly and amazing ! From the receptionist to the MA to the provider. The provider was very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the provider and this urgent care.

Traveling across country in our RV, and unfortunately during my visit to Texas I got sick. My sister took me to Medella Urgent Care to see a doctor, and the staff, and doctor were absolutely wonderful! Service was very prompt, and I was in and out of there quickly! Would recommend without a doubt!
