List of Memorial Mri & Diagnostic's Reviews
I would never use this facility or recommend it to a friend. It took three weeks of back-and-forth calls to schedule an appointment. When my son was finally given an appointment, they took him back there and did not warn him if any of the loud noises he would hear while in the machine and scared half to death. There is no leadership, Customer service is below par, and I have no trust in this facility
I think I would rather just die from whatever than come back to this place again. I brought my son in for a scheduled MRI. *I* verified with my insurance how much my out of pocket expense would be and I was told it was covered 100%. Imagine our shock when we show up and they tell us we have to pay $375. Ummmmm. No. No. I work in finance and I don't just throw my money around just because someone demands it. Also- they failed to notify us of any payment due prior to the appt. When I pointed that out she said "we texted you several days ago". Yeah. You did. All it said was the appointment time and address. I showed her the text and she shrugged it off and said oh well I guess we have a glitch. THIS WHOLE FACILITY IS A GLITCH. The lady up front was SUPER arrogant and condescending and insisted that I had a deductible. Doesn't matter. My insurance doesn't require a deductible to be met for advanced imaging such as an MRI AS LONG AS we are at an outpatient facility that is in network and we also have pre authorization. I love underwriters' small print. I actually read it. So I pushed back but she rudely told me I had two minutes to sort it out or they would not see my son. Since this was a brain MRI it was important so I paid the $375 knowing I would eventually get it back. I immediately got in my chat with my insurance app and the agent confirmed I should pay nothing. She triple checked for me on top of what I had confirmed the week before the appointment and I showed this to the receptionist up front. She said she needed to speak with the insurance rep sooooo, I had to facilitate a call. An hour later I got my $375 back and they finally called my son back for his appointment- an hour and a half after his scheduled time. Never ever ever coming back here. I'll actually gladly pay out of pocket whatever expense is due to avoid this incompetence and rudeness when it comes to healthcare. Sometimes it's worth paying for the best just to avoid this crap. If you DO come here I highly suggest you get in touch with their benefits people (good luck) and make sure you are all on the same page. If not, have your insurance rep on the phone ready to talk. Side note- Cigna gets FIVE stars for actually knowing how to research, LISTEN, and follow through with the patients' needs.
Wait time is long and they have a lock on the AC Thermostat in the waiting lobby area with LOBBY AC TURNED OFF. it's 100 degrees out here today. Inside the office reception desk area is cool. If you ask the receptionist to turn the air on she says only maintenance man can turn the air on and we have no way to contact him. So, i asked what do you do if anything breaks, they said, we just leave it like that until he comes. If you want waste all day waiting in hot temperatures then this place shouldn't be a problem for you.
Worst clinic and service ever. DO NOT GO HERE! They don't answer the phone and when the information they collect is inaccurate. I showed up for my appointment in which I specifically requested the Campbell location and they sent me to Katy. I rescheduled only to have them tell me I needed my work order (they never communicated this before) . We left and will never go back.
I called Memorial MRI at 1346 Campbell Road to schedule an appointment for myself. I sat on hold for nearly 15 minutes before someone picked up on their end and promptly hung up on me! They didn't say a word, just picked up the phone and set it back down...so I gave them the benefit of thinking maybe it was an accident. I called back and sat on hold for another 8-10 minutes before getting really annoyed and hanging up. I called Houston MRI and a human answered the phone on the second ring and scheduled my MRI immediately! WOW! What a concept - they answered their phone, scheduled my appointment and I'm going to give them my money for their services! Memorial MRI could use some help with their phone etiquette!
The Billing department is very rude. The one specific lady who answers the phone does not respond to the clients politely instead disrespects and acts as if you are asking something really odd. I had called them a week ago inquiring about my refund and I was told to call back after a week and now when I did, this is how I was treated. I was charged a wrong copay and all i wanted to know was when I will receive the refund because my insurance had already paid them but instead she responded that she does not know and it could take years because there are only 2 ladies in billing department and so many locations. Interestingly, once I inquired further that you must know something or is there someone who would be able to answer me, she responds back with more rude responses when I told her that my insurance company will contact to clear any confusion, she responded with WOW!!! I told her you are being very rude when I am polite and she futher disrespects. Becareful, when you pay them, billing department is not going to help you. You will have to reach out to your insurance and complain.UPDATE: Someone called me back from the facility and already apologized which I greatly appreciate.
I made an appointment for an ekg, they had me waiting for an hour. I approached the lady at the front She said that the machine wasn’t coming on. They could’ve made me aware of the issue instead of wasting my time
Well organized and quick service
Everyone that came in this morning to either get a MRI or Bone density was told by the person that schedule our appointment that we can have only 1 person to come in with us, the male recession told them that had to leave, he was little rude. One person was upset and left, another brought in his wife even though she was pregnant he needed her because he was on heavy medication, he man was upset because he ask the person that scheduled his appointment if he can bring her and he was yes. The male behind the desk/counter told him that because of COVID 19, she could not stay. He told her that he understand but told (the male behind the desk), he mentioned if to the person that scheduled his appointment and was told him that it would be ok. When I was making appointment was told the same thing that I can bring one person. I informed the male what was discussed, and he told my daughter that she had a leave. At a time like this we do not need anyone to be rude when everyone is saying the same thing, he ( the male behind) the desk did not care. But after you pass him and go to the back everything was fine. The lady who did my MRI was helpful, find, and patient, my thanks to her and the scheduler.
They squeezed me in today for an X-Ray and an MRI. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The front desk made me feel welcome, and the staff that gave me an MRI and X-ray were friendly, quick, and very professional. They made sure I was comfortable and handed me blankets when they asked if I was warm enough. Overall, I had a great visit!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
