List of MIchael E Newmark's Reviews
Charisma is the only thing this doctor has going for him. I saw Dr. Newmark recently for severe migraines and a brain inflammation condition. For the migraines, I told him that the only thing that helps me is extra strength excedrin. My migraines can be debilitating. And what did he recommend? Literally ONE baby aspirin. ONE BABY ASPIRIN? Extra strength excedrin is the only thing helping right now and you think one single BABY aspirin is going to fix my deliberating migraines?? He didn’t even mention or consider any other treatment options for me. Just told me to try one baby aspirin, and moved on. For the brain inflammation, he basically told me that without running any tests, he can confirm that I don’t have it because I “don’t have seizures” and am “not paralyzed or catatonic”. Those are by FAR not the only diagnostic criteria, and in fact to have the condition that severely is rare. But he refused to test or acknowledge my concerns about the possibility of inflammation in my brain. I thought it was his job as a neurologist to investigate issues regarding the brain? So how is that when I came in with two severe issues involving my brain, he told me to take one baby aspirin (might as well have told me to swallow some air), and completely ignored my other concern? Would give him 0 stars if I could. I should have chewed him out in the office when he said these things. I cannot recommend hard enough that you find literally ANYONE else to treat your brain conditions/concerns. Unless you’re just looking for upbeat conversation with someone who will adamantly refuse to give you any kind of treatment, testing, or answers, STAY AWAY.
Finally a doctor who cares about his patients. My faith in the medical community has been restored by Dr. Newmark and his nurse Valery, I found him to be VERY caring, comforting, knowledgeable, listens to you carefully and spends time diagnosing your problem. There are just not enough words to say how wonderful he is. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.
He is like an old time doctor from the 60's....caring, great at listening, communicates extremely well, and spends as much time with you as needed. After seeing several neurologist and being totally frustrated I found Dr Newmark through a referral and within 10 minutes he knew what was wrong with me and assured me he was going to take care of me. He took time to explain what was going on and made ...
It was only by God's grace that I found Dr. Newmark. There are not enough adjectives to explain how wonderful he is. Kind, Caring, Great Listener, Knowledgeable, and has great Communication Skills. After needing to see a neurologist for months I finally had a referral and within 10 minutes he diagnosed me and assured me he was going to take care of me. He is like a doctor from the 60"s and spends as much time with you until he feels you understand and are comfortable with his diagnosis.I just can't say enough about him. Best doctor I have seen in years, maybe lifetime. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Said I my IQ “wasn’t very high” after I had an IQ test (it was 105 and I was 16-17 at the time?) Then denied that I had ADHD without any proof or basis... Rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional.
Wont take ONE minute out of his MONTH to call a patient back! Does not care about his patients!!!
He is very unprofessional, he stated because I was an Aggies fan is why I’m sick. He told my wife and I that there’s no way I was diagnosed with MS, he said we were lying. He didn’t do any tests on me to rule out the MS that I was previously diagnosed with. He said I had a migraine on 1/4/2020 when I went to the ER. How the hell does he know what I had, he wasn’t there. I wasted my time and money going to see him. I do not recommend him to anybody!
The best, most caring doctor.
Wonderfully thoughtful, thorough, and conversational. An excellent care provider.
I wish I could I give more stars. He makes you feel at home and really makes sure you’re taken care medically and financially.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
