List of Mona ELHAJ Iversen's Reviews
Dr. Iversen is the best rheumatologist in Houston. She is caring, understanding and listens to my concerns. Dr. Iversen is thorough in her examinations and treating the symptoms. She immediately responds to my health issues and cares about my well-being . I have been a patient for three years now and my RA is totally under control. Thank you Dr. Iversen.
Thank you Dr. Iverson and team! Let me tell all of you, getting a new patient rheumatologist appointment is incredibly hard right now. I called 6 places that couldn’t see me for over a month. Dr. Iverson was able to see me in under a week. When people need to see a rheumatologist, it’s because they are in chronic pain. I was unable to walk for 13 days and needed to get an appt stat. Dr. Iverson had amazing bedside manner and asked a ton of great questions to better understand me and my family medical history. She diagnosed my problem as Gout (yes I am the youngest person with Gout unfortunately), and then she was able to help address the acute pain and provide a plan for the long term. I feel so much better already and am relieved that I know what caused this excruciating pain. Anyone who has had gout knows what I am talking about! Her staff was very pleasant and the nurses were great to work with. Highly recommend! And they take BCBS!
Dr. Iverson was so kind and understanding. She took time to explain all the conditions. I felt very at ease and confident with everything.
In several visits to Dr. Iversen's office, I have waited anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes--even though I had the earliest appointment of the day! I was assured that they do indeed see folks at 7:15, but they didn't call me in until 7:30. Staff made errors that cost me wasted time and parking fees, even though I had called several times to specify my need for information. The office is inefficient and disappointing.
Dr. Iversen is the best doctor ever she makes sure that she has answered all my medical questions Dr. Iversen is very caring provider
Dr. Iversen delivers the best service ever. I'm honored to be under her care.
Dr. Elhaj literally saved my life! I was referred to her back in 2011 at a time in my life when my health almost took my life. But thanks to her knowledge and not to mention kindness, I am hanging on and have been in remission for last couple years. From the reception staff to Dr. Elhaj, all are extremely kind, considerate and a joy.
I was a patient of hers for a year and her office and her made mistake after mistake till I couldn't deal with it anymore. During the last appointment today I told her I wouldn't be returning and she seemed very nice and supportive at the clinic then had her staff cut off all medications that were already prescribed for the transition. I told her my new appointment wasn't till February and you see how much she really cared and one is very dangerous to get off suddenly! BAD Doctor!
her staff makes many mistakes, and their mail system takes a month to receive blood work.
I've been seeing Dr. Elhaj since she was a fellowship doctor at the University of Texas. I liked her so much I followed her to private practice. I have a very rare disease where nothing is textbook. I needed a doctor who listened to her patients, was easy to talk to and could also think outside of the box. Dr. Elhaj is everything I need in a doctor. I trust her decision making and feel, even though I have a rare, progressive disease, I'm in very capable hands. In addition, her staff is excellent - especially her infusion nurse, Michelle.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
