Mosaic Dermatology Houston's Online Review Report Card

I made an appointment at this dermatology clinic sent my insurance information confirmed with my insurance that I do not need a referral for dermatology. I did my research before I scheduled the appointment found this company on Zocdoc, which you have to upload your insurance information to make sure that the doctor accepts it. I was called the week before my appointment and was told that they were canceling my appointment because I needed a referral. I explained to them I already checked with Blue Cross Blue Shield and did not need a referral for this appointment. The appointment rep continue to argue with me and tell me that she’s not gonna reschedule my appointment Because I needed a referral. I offered to call Blue Cross Blue Shield on the phone to verify that I did not need the referral, but she refused to listen to me and only wanted to argue back-and-forth and basically told me I’m not gonna argue with you. There’s nothing I can do doctors please do your research on the people that you hire. This is not the professional way to handle a situation. She never offered to even try To figure out how to resolve the issue and said she didn’t know what to tell me he lost the customer and will probably lose more in the future at this continues to happen.

Doctor cannot fix the problem additionally you will lose lot of money . Pls avoid and save money

Dr. Rashid has abilities and skills. He does a good job.<br>The accounts department works well.<br>The office doesn't answer the phone. If you can drive to ask a question, if you can use this service, they will never answer the phone. They say they are busy, which is a lie.

I love my medical derm appts w Dr Rashid, he runs the best med derm practice in Houston! The office is efficient, the appts are always timely, he’s always pleasant, and his Dx and Trx are efficient and accurate! I’ve always been in and out in about 15 min, 20 max!<br>If you’re having a med derm issue book w Dr Rashid, you won’t regret it!

I like the doctor, but the dry personality, mask wearing staff needs training. After helping them by coming early on other appointments so that they could get lunch and leave early, they want to charge me a late fee after cancelling my appointment when I was 20 minutes late due to Houston traffic. Well, now I’m not coming back so they won’t get their late fee or any business from me. Also, there was nobody in the office or rooms that I could see.<br><br>Also, want to echo former posts about how “doctor doesn’t speak to patients”, “doctor doesn’t call patients”, and “doctor doesn’t take emails from patients” when I asked if I could speak to him or have him reach out to me.<br><br>Doc - you have an issue with customer service sir! Call me brother, I will be calling my insurance company as well.

Everyone that works here is great. Dr. Rashid is a very knowledgeable dermatologist and has helped me with an array of issues. Easy to make an appointment and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Only down side is they close early, but maybe that’s why everyone that works here is so efficient!
