Dr. Satija and Dr. Ummat both show great care and expertise with their diagnosis and treatment. They are compassionate and take the time to explain the issue thoroughly and then proceed to treat it appropriately. The addition of Shay as a physician assistant has added greatly to the organization and care of the Pain and Headache Center of Texas

Zero stars. Very unprofessional, Dr. Satija yells and got angry when I rightfully questioned him about a medication. I told him we were done and got up to leave, he followed me and yelled down the hall calling me an addict for everyone in the waiting room to hear, an addict that I, decidedly, am not. Chronic pain patient for 21 years and never have I been flagged as an addict. He was a clown. He was yelling he wouldn’t take me back and I told him I wasn’t his girlfriend, thank god.

Dr. Santija is awesome! I've suffered from back, neck and leg pain from scoliosis surgery I had over 35 years ago. Past drs have only wrote me scripts. Dr. Santija has ordered tests and explained where my pain is coming from. I am so excited to finally get the treatment I've been looking for. My outlook and expectations for the future are finally looking positive. Thank you Dr. Santija! 4/19/22 update i am still seeing Dr Satija and he has helped me tremendously. My life is so much better since he's been treating me. All the procedures helped and he has become not only a trusted dr but friend to me...easy to talk to and great bedside manner. His whole staff is Awesome!!!! Before you feel hopeless with no relief in sight give him a call...he has turned my life around!!!

Rooms are filthy - garbage overflowing on the floor. Belittles you. Tells you constantly how he is the best pain management doctor there is. Pharmacy cannot get a hold of him. Phones lines are down for months at a time. Has no concept of CRPS and treatment. You just look at the amount of people crammed in the office and they aren’t feeling “like they’ve never had pain before thanks to my procedure”. I’ve been to some bad pain management doctors around the U.S. Dr. Satija is one of the worst. Read the other negative reviews - they are not exagerating.

Absolutely stay away. He yells at patients and is reckless. He appears to have anger issues, anxiety, and is in too much of a hurry. I wish I’d never met the man.

The doctors and the staff are excellent. They diagnosed me with a problem which other pain doctors in Houston missed completely. They have helped me with my condition greatly and my pain is much better now. I am moving to closer to the medical center because of these doctors. God bless them.

Worst Dr. I have ever met called my husband a liar . Charged him a fee to be seen only to humiliate him and tell him he’s wasn’t going to take him back as a patient. Was screaming at him telling him he was going to call the police. Because I told my husband that we needed to report him to the medical board. He said we were threatening him. We will report him, this Dr. is unprofessional

This place is a joke. Completely unprofessional staff. Insults their patients and charges them for visits that the doctor doesn't even visit their patients then have their staff inform the patient the doctor won't be seeing them. Do not visit this place if you are looking to get better. They will only charge you and barely even help you. I wouldn't doubt if most these 5 stars are them buying their patients off by offering some sort of discount if they leave a 5 star review. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE

If I could give ZERO stars, I most definitely would. I am in law enforcement, and my health is imperative! This is the WORST facility that I've ever visited. From August 2020, to January 2021, I gave them chances to get it right. IT NEVER HAPPENED! Long story short, if you care about your health, YOU WONT BENEFIT FROM THIS CLINIC. I was forced to take further action! If you opt to visit this clinic, and receive less than professional, and a knowledgeable experience, you owe it to yourself, and others looking for help to report them.. ITS YOUR RIGHT!!

Pankaj SatijaM.D. & his wife Monika Ummat M.D. have treated me for both Migraine HA & Pain Management since 2015. Both are great listeners, educate you on how to improve your quality of life, but most importantly take time to answer questions, including the dumb ones. Both have taken the time to speak with my other doctors about conflicting medications & treatments. No one is perfect & there have been times when Dr Satija seems to run around with his hair on 🔥 However, over a 5 year period I can count the number of times on one hand & he has never compromised patient care. I've recently moved to FL & plan on using Telemed appointments interspersed with in-office as much as possible. While I'm only 65 years young, I will say hands down, especially as a duo, they are the best doctors I've ever seen.
