Pediatric Home Service's Online Review Report Card

Terrible company. I’m based out of the Richmond office but there’s nowhere to review them. You’re not allowed to switch locations. I’ve been a customer of theirs for a little over a year after they purchased my previous DME company Apple Home Care. It has been horrible. I would avoid this company particularly for GI supplies or GU supplies. They’re pretty good about the respiratory stuff so if that is all you need then maybe. I have been reassured for months now that things should start getting better because of new management. One item was not shipped last month in my shipment. I just got off of a 37 minute phone call to get it shipped. When I previously contacted last week to have it shipped. Regarding the phone call that I placed 4 days ago, no record of it. The staff is nice on the phone when you talk to them. Follow through just seems to be the problem. My desire for my DME company is to get all the supplies that I need in a reasonable amount of time and to not have to call you every month for errors, missing items, or have to find out about back ordered supplies, or missing prior authorizations. It’s disconcerting when I call about a missing supply and my care coordinator says, “I didn’t know the prior authorization had expired.” Former employee but pretty sure that’s what your job is. I do not want to micromanage your company but I have been forced to do it just about every month I have been with them.

Andrea R(RT) is awesome she has always been very helpful when I have questions and need 911 supplies for my son. She goes out of her way to check on updates for machine and order status when needed. Thank you for being awesome definitely 💯 at your job.

This company serves medically fragile children who rely on timely supplies to meet critical daily needs. Unfortunately, we have experienced ongoing delays and difficulties receiving orders over the past couple of years. Even with auto-ship in place, deliveries have not consistently arrived on time, if at all.

Rochelle is the best. Always so sweet when she comes and always goes above and beyond to help us fulfill our needs with questions or supplies.

My experience with the Andrea A. was Great! She's the representative that delivered my daughters equipment, she patiently explained how to operate the Bipap, the Pulse OX, Concentrator, and the Oxygen tanks. At first I was truly overwhelmed to see all of the new equipment my daughter is going to need, but Andrea A. made sure she didn't leave before I felt comfortable understanding how everything worked😊 she patiently stood by as I wrote down my notes😁 I used Pediatric Home service in the past and im happy to see that their quality of Care hasn't changed🙌🙏

If I could give less than 1 star I would, absolutely the WORST company to deal with. They will never call you back or get your supplies to you in time. The office staff is extremely rude and do not care if your child gets their life saving supplies or not. Highly, HIGHLY recommend using any other dme company!!!

So far my experience has been terrible. I’m not sure if the right hand is not talking to the left but I’m being told that my son’s file was closed due to not being able to contact me. I’ve been calling for the last 2 weeks to follow up and this was never brought up so this is completely false! If it wasn’t for a particular therapist being recommended I would seek services elsewhere.

If I had another option, I would use it, but unfortunately, I do not. 😡 Customer support can't answer questions and hangs up when they are frustrated. While this is a job for the people on the other end of the phone, this is the life of my child, and I don't get the option of just hanging up and not dealing with it. No family chooses to be in a position where they are dependent on a phone call being answered by someone who may or may not decide to help.
