Dr. Peter Nguyen is the best. Been going to him for 3 years. Always good manners. You are not just a patient he's really has compassion ?

Dr Nguyn lakes or has NO BEDSIDE MANNER. He has seen me three times All three times the same lecture about a salt free diet. I have followed his RULES to the letter and still gained 9 lbs. I explain I’m not eating anything with salt. He then vegans to accuse you of not eating a salt free diet. I’m sitting in tears and he has no sympathy what so ever. He doesn’t try to figure out if there could be another problem are nothing. He’s not a doctor to reason with. He’s unrealistic

Dr. Nguyen is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and patient. He answers all of my questions, no matter how inane they may be. I would not trust anyone else with the care of my kidney.

I have received excellent care under Dr. Nguyen. Care before, during, and after the transplant has been superb. I came for the transplant and stay for the service and care that he provides.

I love Dr. Nguyen he is excellent if it were not for him. I would not be where I am in my Kidney journey. He taught me how to even lose weight and is very encouraging.

Dr. Nguyen is the best. He has shepherded us before, during, and after my kidney transplant with expert hands. We hardly ever have to wait more than a few minutes for his appointments. Dr. Nguyen is friendly and professional in how he approaches my lab work and the plan to move forward. I highly recommend him to everyone.

To put it brief yet very personal! Dr. Nyguen and all his supporting partners and staff are family! The interaction has always been comfortable, informative, positive and family felt! The life given is almost unexplainable! I greatly thank the HKC for this life changing experience and plan to be a part if this family as long a as the Good Lord Wills it! 5 stars is not enough!

Dr. Nguyen is an exceptional doctor with impeccable bedside manner. He truly has a gift for explaining complex medical issues in understandable terms with the unique ability to offer hope in even the most critical situations. Dr. Nguyen is thorough and clearly communicates the priorities for both short-term and long-term treatment goals. His calm demeanor immediately puts you at ease, and his confidence reaffirms that you’re in good hands. As a medical professional myself, I’ve observed Dr. Nguyen for years as he has provided quality care to his patients. I’ve seen firsthand the extent to which he advocates on his patients’ behalf and the kind/respectful manner in which he treats patients, patients’ families, colleagues, nurses, and support staff. Dr. Nguyen is diligent in understanding the entire health care system in order to better assist his patients navigate through barriers. His passion for medicine is obvious and his dedication to the medical profession is apparent in his involvement with numerous committees at Methodist. So naturally, when my brother started having kidney issues a few months ago, my nephrologist recommendation was a no-brainer. And as I get to know Dr. Nguyen (and his partners- Dr. Kagan, Dr. Olivero x2, Dr. Lee) from the perspective of a patient’s family member, I continue to be blown away. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nguyen. He’s deserving of far more than 5 stars.

Great doctor! Very caring and gives personal attention. Extremely knowledgable but relates everything well to the patient. Highly recommended.
