An excellent physician who actually listens to the patient and carefully explains the problem and treatment.
Been seeing him for around 10 years, very professional, very caring and always has the time to listen to you...your not going to find a better cardiologist in Houston
I went to Katy Memorial Hermann Hospital with severe chest and head pains. Dr. Haas was the Cardiologist on duty. He didn't seem to really care about my problems. He wanted to get in and out as fast as possible. My family noticed it also. When I saw him again he seemed more interested in talking on the phone to another doctor about some problem his mother-in-law was having. At my follow up appointment he told me he didn't believe me when he first saw me. I want see him again.
He is an amazing Dr. in all ways, you might have to wait to see him but that is only because of the time he takes with his patients. His patients matter to him. Can't say enough great things about him.
He helped and added three needed stents to my heart back in Dec. 2015 I feel a lot better after being under his care.
Dr. Haas is a excellent doctor, Staff on the other hand is a very different story. The young lady that sits at the counter in the waiting area is very Nasty & Rude needs to be Replaced Immediately before losing more patients!
Dr. Haas is very knowledgeable about his job. Every time I go to him, it's fast. His staff is very responsible. I have never had a issue with waiting a long time to see him. I recommend seeing Dr. Haas.
I am new to Houston, had not found PCP. Two weeks here, I had a hypertensive"crisis:I went to an urgent care center, the physician assistant made an appointment with Dr Haas, I got in the same day. I had to wait an hour and half, but I expected that. Staff was courteous, Dr.Haas was thorough, and took a conservative approach. I will continue to follow up with him. The Urgent Care Clinic on West heifer has an excellent staff and wonderful PA. Both providers are efficient.
Staff is not great. Poor communication and poor follow up. Seem overwhelmed. Don't get back to you.
My husband had quadruple bypass surgery. When he was released from the hospital Dr. Hass' charge nurse scheduled our follow up appointment three months after the surgery. My husband's surgeon called the Dr. Haas directly and got them to make us a follow up appointment the following week. They gave us no direction after surgery. They were to order a prescription for my husband and never called to say they had ordered it. When we call the office they put us on hold until the machine picks up and says leave a message. This is the worst Doctor & staff I have ever encountered.
Houston Metropolital Cardiology appears to do "serious marketing" of services that may not be necessary. Diagnosis was "ultra-conservative" which may certainly favor the patient, but prescribed procedures may also have been unnecessary. Wating time for last visit was over two hours and I left without seeing the doctor.
dr. haas is rude to hospital staff and does not give patients much information on what he will do for their care
The doctor is a excellent cardiologist. His staff is courtesy but his charged nurse has much to be desired messing up my prescriptions even after I have given her the printed medications list of how much dosage and quantity. It is time for her to move on.
This Doctor is well worth the wait to see. It took awhile to get in, But I can see why he has the best bedside manners, really on top of my care, Friendly,Funny and he can speak clearly to where I understand. His nurse Shana was really caring and did a great job with following up on my tests and answering my questions. They make a great team when it comes to patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Haas for a Cardiac Dr.
very poor and unprofessional office staff.
