Puja Sehgal's Online Review Report Card

I went to Dr. Segal for a second opinion and to further explore something my other doctor hadn't addressed. It was $260 just to see Dr. Segal. I have never paid an office visit fee this high anywhere, ever. Uninsured or not, specialist or PCP, downtown or in the med center. This fee is excessive and unjustified. She was very short with me and essentially told me to just to go back to my other doctor. That's all well and good, but I took time out of my day to come to her office and paid her an office fee. Her office wanted to charge $500+ for a test that would cost $150 at my specialist's office (both not covered by insurance), so I asked them to send the test referral to my specialist. Dr. Segal personally told me in our office visit that she could write me a prescription for the test and I could go anywhere to have it done. Of course, Dr. Segal refused to do so after I found out the ridiculous cost and wanted to go elsewhere. So now I'm out $260 dollars for 15 minutes, if that, with a doctor with a condescending attitude and no time or desire to treat paying patients, and if I want this test I have to be examined all over again. I have never had such a bad experience with a doctor.

She’s a very thorough and honest doctor and she definitely cares about her patients. The biggest issue I’ve had in the past is that my pcp wouldn’t listen to my concerns or had poor availability. Dr. Seghal listens and her schedule works well with my availability. I’m so happy that I chose her as my pcp.

Dr. Sehgal is a wonderful doctor who gives you the time she has patience. She is caring and very honest! I definitely recommend her!

Dr. Sehgal is professional, knowledgeable, kind and efficient. I feel very fortunate to have her as my PCP and am confident in her medical opinion and treatment. I am also glad that KSC now accepts Medicare so I will not have to change doctors when I am eligible, Lord willing. I also like the KSC model, which allows me to have all tests and specialists under the same umbrella; and has the best customer service reps and on call nurses! Please keep up the good work for your patients.

She was attentive to my purpose for being there. She didn't rush in and out and I really appreciated that. I feel good about my decision in choosing her as my PCP.

Dr Sehgal is patient and is someone a patient can connect with. She puts you at ease and is able to converse with her asking any question. I feel very confortable with her. Happy she is my doctor

I was surprised I had such a negative experience with Dr. Sehgal after seeing all the positive reviews she received (not even sure those are real at this point). I have not been a patient long, but I did not feel she listened to my concerns or discussed lifestyle enough before she was quick to diagnose and prescribe, despite visible symptoms and blood work suggested she was wrong. Not comfortable going to a Dr. who almost seems more interested in moving on to the next patient rather than getting to know the one in her room. Maybe I caught her on a bad day. Won't return.

Dr Sehgal is very knowledgeable, and as important, she asks good questions to better understand what may be going on. I have always hated going to the Dr., but she makes me feel very comfortable. I recommend her highly.

I like Dr. Sehgal because she was very communicative, thorough and patient. She took time to complete an extensive examination. She explained in easy to understand language her diagnosis, the medication she was prescribing and why that particular medication and she exhibited an excellent personality.

She's awesome..She expresses concern regardless to what I'm visiting her for.
