List of R.K. Mangal's Reviews
1st visit and I have to say the education I received about the process and the issues I have has been super informative. I've NEVER received that from any doctor and just having that knowledge empowers me when making decisions about my infertility. Looking forward to the rest of the process and hoping for success!❤️
Whew where do I start! DR. Mangal is a lifesaver! He’s so amazing at what he does. He knows the ins & outs of endometriosis. I was blessed to be referred to such an amazing DR and his team!!! I was diagnosed with stage 4 endo all while trying to conceive for 7 years and going through the worse pain of my life. For 4 years all I could do was lay in my bed with a heating pad and pain meds, no DR or ER could tell me why. Now 4 years after an 8 hr surgery and abdominal wall mesh I’m sitting here looking at my beautiful 10 month old daughter! Thank you again DR Mangal, your a blessing!
No more cramps, pain, or heavy bleeding. He has changed my quality of life and I will always appreciate him for helping with my endometriosis.
I’ve never seen a doctor that spent more than 15 minutes on me. He spent the whole day. He is probably the most knowledgeable endometriosis/fertility doctor in the U.S.
Dr. Mangal was surgery #8 (or #10) for the lifelong events around endometriosis. His meticulous attention detail, along with a phenomenal team of medical professionals have created a life of 15 years pain free. I was so blessed to be connected with him.
Dr. Mangal is very knowledgeable and great to work with. I am glad my OB/GYN referred us to him. Update-he cured me of my endo and I am pain free for the first time in 25 years. I cannot say enough about Dr. Mangal and his team. He was also kind enough to help me on a weekend sort through my lab results. No doctor cares as much as him.
Amazing! Dr Mangal is very passionate about his profession. He cares about his patients as if they are family. I can honestly say he is a doctor like no other.
I went to Dr. Mangal because I experienced infertility. Dr. Mangal is very kind and patient. I never felt rushed. I was surprised he called me on a Sunday with my test results. We were really on the phone for like 30 minutes. He let me ask any questions I wanted without rushing me off the phone. Be ware he is a very thorough doctor so he will order a lot of test. Which now I understand why. This was my first surgery and I was blessed to meet a surgeon who wanted to take time to know everything about my body inside and out. I had my myoectomy Dec 2021, he removed 7 fibroids and I had no complications, If I was concerned about something after my surgery he was Always available to take my call. He is the best. Thank you doctor and to the amazing staff. My incision was done very neatly and healed very well.
Dr. Mangal is not an endometriosis specialist. He still believes in the outdated endometriosis definition, which is harmful for adequate care for endometriosis patients. He diagnosed me with stage 3 endometriosis. But he seriously lost bed side-manner. He doesn’t have much compassion when you come back post surgery still in pain. My endometriosis symptoms didn’t improve at all and I didn’t recover to be able to move forward with my life. And claimed all the endometriosis was removed. I had suspicion I had adenomyosis as well and begged him for a hysterectomy. He is way more concerned about preserving a woman’s fertility than what a patient needs. I didn’t realize this until post surgery with added things he did to preserve my uterus, when these weren’t things I wanted in the first place. He cut the tube to my right ovary because it wasn’t connected properly to prevent an ectopic pregnancy in the future. Before surgery he asked me about babies when I was more concerned about the pain I was in. Absolutely disgusting. I had confirmation from a second opinion that I indeed have Adenomyosis. This doctor was able to read my MRI and see it, despite it being stage 2. I had my hysterectomy a year ago by an eleventh opinion for my adenomyosis. I had endometriosis removed that was missed, as well as my meckles diverticulum. Dr. Mangal mentioned the meckles diverticulum, but had no concern for how it was affecting me or how it was pertinent to get this out. The doctor that performed my hysterectomy, mentioned how this is common among patients with those that have endometriosis. How it affects the GI tract and causes further problems. He’s not an endometriosis specialist, yet is way more knowledgeable about this disease. Also the radiologist he uses for the MRI is terrible. What kind of reading is possible adenomyosis? And apparently it will say that with everyone’s MRI. I had a vaginal ultrasound that shows no signs of remaining endometriosis. I was in tears from the pain and he had the nerve to tell me to sit back up. Thank God I had my mother there to talk to him because I was unable to form any sentence and couldn’t sit up. It’s disappointing and heartbreaking when surgery is suppose to provide some relief. For me it did not. I was in a much worse state than I was when I came to him and that was a year difference.
In the beginning had a few issues dealing with the staff, upon informing the doctor he made sure issues were rectified . So far everything is going great, as they are making sure I get all the attention and the process is going stress-free .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
