Ranjani Amin does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
My 3-4 appts with Dr. Amin were among the worst I have experienced from a health care professional. She does not look at you, listen to your questions or statements about your health, or remember what she has previously done with you and has to be reminded. She keeps asking you to come back in for appts so she can address each issue separately, yet when you do, her attentiveness remains shallow at best. I do not recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Amin seemed disinterested and extremely rushed. I felt almost as if I had to beg her to take the time to evaluate me. She spent most of the session staring at their computer taking notes. She is reflection of the dysfunctional healthcare system, treating patients like a line item to be checked off. Baylor Clinic in general is somewhere you should avoid if you can.
My experience with Dr. Amin was very poor. She refused to address the issue that I came in to the clinic for and generally had very poor bedside manner. My experience with Baylor Family Medicine was also very poor and I would recommend avoiding both Dr. Amin and that clinic.
I guess I am not surprised to see the poor review about Dr. Amin with my experience with her. Like someone already mentioned, she is disinterested in listening and understanding the problem I had, but rather cherry-picking what I told her and making rush judgement. Even after I tried to correct her and told her that wasn't my symptom, she wouldn't listen. The only reason I went to see her is because my primary physician is unavailable to see me sooner. I would definitely not see her in the future and would not recommend her to anyone.
It is extremely validating to see all the reviews expressing similar concerns. I have had three appointments with Dr. Amin and will now be finding another doctor because I simply can't be treated like this anymore. She is cold and callous, with very clear disinterest in her patients. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time because I know doctors are humans and they can have a bad day. However, she has been disinterested, rushed, rude, condescending, and quick to judge (incorrectly) every time I've spoken with her. I don't like her character and I don't trust her medical/clinical judgment.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
