List of Rensimer Edward R, Md's Reviews
At age 90 I can truthfully say Dr. Rensimer is the most caring and professionally brilliant medical doctor I have ever seen. He actually seems to enjoy figuring things out no matter how involved. Yes, he uses all the latest medical technology but HE LISTENS.
Very rude front desk and nurse. Declined to accept their service. Avoid this place
Great doctor to work with
Exceptionally fine experience. I recommend Dr. Ed Rensimer, MD and his entire medical staff in the strongest possible terms. His practice is designed to provide the kind of exceptionally professional but personally focused medical care which is rarely seen in today’s government and insurance company dominated medical industry. He is thoroughly responsive and a great listener. Then, he is extremely knowledgeable and both willing and eager to explain his understanding. If your primary motivation is for a quick in, quick out, 10-minute experience watching someone type into their laptop, Rensimer & Associates is not for you. If you are looking for real listening, careful evaluation, and exceptional medical knowledge delivered in an atmosphere focused on sincere caring and compassion, you will never do better. Ever.

I must agree with other reviews that this man is totally arrogant. He didn't go through all the test results I provided prior to my visit because, according to him, all of those doctors are idiots, and it's a waste of his time to do secretarial work. He seems to hate his job almost as much as he hates insurance companies. No one should use insurance, they should pay out of pocket. I've never been to a doctor that uses such bad language to a patient. Maybe it's time for him to find something else to do. Something where he has no contact with other people.
Arrogant and self-absorbed. How did he ever become a doctor? He clearly hates his job and insurance companies. Never reviewed the test results from other doctors I sent over, because according to him they are all idiots. He also thinks no one should use insurance and should pay out of pocket for everything. I am so disappointed in this guy. If you hate your job this much . . . retire!
Dr E. Rensimer is an excellent physician. He knows his medicine and shows care and concern for patients. He catches details that many may miss. He is exceptionally thorough. His staff, especially Miranda, is outstanding.
While I didn't see Dr. Rensimer in-office, I feel the need to sing the office's praises. While in Nicaragua, I got bitten by a bat and had to immediately return to the US to start the rabies vaccine protocol. Despite arriving in Houston (not my home city-- just the first destination I could get to the U.S.) late at night and thus receiving treatment in the E.R., I emailed Dr. Rensimer's office with quite a few questions in hopes to ease my panicking mind over the next few days. I'm amazed at how quickly, thoroughly and compassionately they responded, repeatedly-- even though I wasn't a patient. It's clear they care deeply about humans and will go out of their way to make sure quality care and knowledge are provided. I'm sure we've all been in the position where we are scared and desperate due to a medical situation... and are frankly not met with the compassion we'd want, where the priority instead seems to be on paperwork and logistical protocol. This is NOT the case here, where my well-being clearly came first for the office staff. I wish there were doctors like this in my hometown and everyone could receive this kind of treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
