Dr Harper enjoys the well deserved reputation as the best neurosurgeon in Houston. He has a good bedside manner especially if you take time to listen to his good advice.

Two operations with Dr. Harper over 7 years for stenosis in back bone. Recovery was very easy and I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Harper. Recently had pain along outside of each leg in the mornings. Dr. Harper ordered an MRI. I went in his office to hear results. Dr. Harper said he saw nothing that could cause my pain. I also have neuropathy in the feet and apparently the legs so that may be the cause. What I really like and respect about Dr. Harper is "He will not operate unless there is something he can fix" No guess work or experimentation. He knows when a operation is suggested and when it is not."

The staff make you feel so "taken care of". They anticipate every need in every aspect of our care! They let you know everything to expect and follow through in arranging all aspects of appointments. They work as a team and get things done!

My pain was discussed, test results were discussed and a thorough understanding of the problem was provided. Dr. Harper has done prior surgery on me...completely successful. I feel comfortable that my upcoming surgery will be equally as beneficial.

Dr. Harper is an exceptional surgeon and has performed spinal surgery for our family over the course of 18 years. He is by far the best neurosurgeon in Houston.
