Very caring staff and doctor-straightforward with treatment plan and options. Was seen with very little wait including taking X rays

Dr. Goytia is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs knee replacement surgery. He is very knowledgeable, has a good bedside manner and his staff is fantastic. I have the uttermost confidence in Dr. Goytia.

This was the 1 month follow up after total hip replacement .The appointment wait was short and he explained all the post surgery things to do and what not to do and also the better quality of life I would have after having this surgery.

Dr. Goytia took his time and didn't indicate being in a hurry. He answered any questions I had and made recommendations to remedy my problems.

In the time I met with Dr Goytia, he and his PA made a very good impression on me. I felt they both really communicated with me on a professional and personal level. The staff was so helpful and genuine. I am so pleased to have been directed to his practice.

Went to see Dr Goytia in Clear Lake at the Fondren office for re-occurring pain in my hip. An x-ray was done before I met Dr Goytia. He reviewed the x-ray with me explaining that I had the hip of an 80 year old man and I would need replacement surgery right away. After examining me and some surprise that I did not have pain in some places, he showed me on the x-ray no ball and loss of cartledge. At that point someone realized they mixed up my x-ray with an older man down the hall. He and his office were so embarrassed they did not charge me as I left but sent me a bill for a $500 office visit later which insurance paid $300. I am giving him a poor review because he did a poor job. He maybe a great doctor but for my visit/experience his time wasn't worth minimum wage.

Best knee and hip replacement doc ever!

This was my first visit with Dr Goytia for a knee injury. I had been a patient of Dr Kearns, who recently retired, for many years. Dr Goytia had a great bedside manner and was knowledgeable about my knee injury. He showed me the xrays and explained the situation in an understandable manner. I had no issues with Dr Goytia but the female standing at the computer in the room was annoying. She continued to talk over Dr Goytia as he was giving me instructions for care which made it difficult to understand. My husband and I see MD's for their knowledge. It was very disrespectful for this person, who did not identify herself, to override anything Dr Goytia or I said. I will probably see Dr Goytia for future issues with the understanding that he has the ultimate voice in the visit.
