List of Ryan Stuckey's Reviews
Dr Stuckey is an excellent surgeon and a very caring doctor.
I have been a patient at Fondren for more than 20 years for various sports or ortho ailments. I find this to be the best medical practice for orthopedic care in the State. Each physician has his own specialty and this is great as this being the first time to see Dr. Stuckey he was pleasant and his nurse practitioner was very involved.
I would definitely recommend Dr Stuckey. He was thorough and took his time to explain every detail of what was needed. He listened to my concerns and did not rush me. He was knowledgeable, caring and made me feel at ease about my upcoming surgery. Dr Stuckey and his staff are friendly and professional and I am more than satisfied with my experience.
I had numerous symptoms/problems presenting (i.e., lower back pain, week legs, hip pain, foot pain walking) and had seen many other physicians with no luck. Finally, I saw Dr. Stuckey and he quickly discovered a major issue with my spinal cord in my neck, requiring anterior cervical discectomy and fusion from C3 to C7. I found Dr. Stuckey to be extremely knowledgeable and my research on him demonstrated to me, he’s one of the top surgeons in his field. Although no surgical procedure carries any type of outcome guarantee, I am confident my outcome is directly related to the surgeon I chose. Without going into great detail, my surgical case was very difficult. I am now well on my way to a full recovery and all of my symptoms/problems are gone! I count myself very lucky to have found such a surgeon and realize what this means for my quality of life moving forward.
Very good. He explained x-rays very well; never been done in other orthopedic physician experiences. He was professional in every well and explained things to my best satisfaction. We are just at beginning to understand my back issues, but I have confidence that he figure out in near future.
Dr. Stuckey is amazing. He listens & patient. He’s also very honest in the treatment needed & the recovery time required. He communicates very well, explains why a procedure is necessary, & makes sure you aren’t left w/ any unanswered questions. He’s done both a cervical & a lumbar fusion on me & I won’t go anywhere else after being under his care. Fully recommend Dr. Stuckey
Very efficient office and friendly.
I was dealing with a severe painful mid-spine issue that turned out to be an infection. Very thankful he found it with furthur study. Dr. Stuckey also found a very bad neck issue that was surgically corrected too. Excellent care and detailed treatment with the resources of the entire Texas Orthopedic Hospital. Great Doctor!
My mom finally had her surgery with Dr. Stuckey for sciatica, after weeks of going back and forth scheduling for it. Her surgery was successful, and so far recovery is going well. There is still little pain after 2 weeks, but it is expected and she was told full recovery could take up to 6 months. She looks and feels better regardless, and we hope it’ll be the only surgery needed.
I went and saw Dr. Stuckey and after several surgeries I am finally out of pain. He is so compassionate, caring and concerning. I had several back injections but after no help we did a laminectomy with decompression and what a difference it made! His office staff are wonderful. It's like a great big family! They always had a smile on their face. His PA Katherine was wonderful. She came in on my follow up visit and went over all my results with me and then I saw Dr. Stuckey afterwards. If you are in pain and need to see a spinal surgeon you won't regret making an appointment to see him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
