Very knowledgeable cardiologist that does something rare nowadays: he takes the time to attentively listen to your concerns!
This man is dangerous to patients. He missed an internal hemorrhage while I was admitted, under his car, in the hospital a year ago. Recently he told the ER doctor to send me home with extreme swelling in the lower extremities due to acute CHF. This "Doctor's license to practice should be revoked.
A year ago, while at Memorial Herman, this doctor was on the team that was caring for me. I told him I had an IVC filter that had been recalled and asked to have a CT scan of the abdomen. He said it wasn't necessary. Upon discharge I noticed that my Hemoglobin and Hematocrit levels were half of normal. I was bleeding internally. I returned the next day and the E.R. doctor confirmed that I had a large pool of blood in the right perineal cavity. Rahman had missed this hemorrhage. Went to E.R. two days ago with extreme swelling of both legs and feet. Obviously my CHF was getting worse. He told the E.R. doctor to send me home instead of admitting me and treating the condition with IV lasix. This man is a danger to patients. I filed a complaint of malpractice with the Texas Medical Board. If you have experienced similar problems, you should do the same.
My wife was referred to Dr Rahman due to her scoliosis to have the permanent Spinal Cord Stimulator Nevro HF-10 placed one her lower back. Surgery went great, healing has been great, she’s almost at four weeks out and at about 80% free of pain in her lower body! It’s amazing! After 28 years of pain, four surgeries, PT, injections, all kinds of meds and just giving up and laying in bed. She’s up and walking and starting to lead a normal life again. Dr Rahman and his staff have been super attentive to all her questions, always call back right away with answers! I have found the best Doctor ever, I highly recommend him to anyone with problems like my wife! Thanks!!😁😷😁
Dr. Rahman seems to be intentionally double booking and overbooking appointments. When you arrive at your appointment you'll find a crowded waiting room and a receptionist who is unable to tell you how long you'll have to wait. How can he spend enough time with each patient?
