I initially met Dr. Yu in 2016 after a friend of mine had her surgery with him. I had failed weight loss attempts for many years and Dr. Yu was very knowledgeable about the why’s behind it. I had the sleeve gastrectomy on 7/26/2016 and lost a lot of weight! Unfortunately I developed reflux and some unhealthy eating habits during COVID. I talked to Dr. Yu and he recommended a revision. He assured me that no matter what I did with regard to changing my eating habits the reflux would continue. I was made aware of this possible side effect from the sleeve when I had it. I had my revision on 7/10/23 and Dr. Yu has been wonderful. I have had a lot of questions and he has answered everyone of them without frustration. I highly recommend the TLC practice as a whole. They also have a wonderful nutritionist that has educated me as well.

Dr Sherman Yu is a great and caring doctor I had! He made sure to explain everything I needed to know about the surgery and I also had great and caring staff and nurses that took the very best care of me. I would definitely recommend anyone to Dr Yu and his staff

Dr.Yu is a very great doctor. He is very detailed very proficient, and knowledgeable with the different type of surgeries that you may need. The office staff is very professional and they answer calls and questions when you need help. A great place to have a great surgery.

I love Dr. Yu! I have been with him for 10 years through a lap band adjustments (my first surgeon at another practice retired), LB to sleeve revision, and gallbladder surgery. He is professional, kind, and also brutally honest...which is important with weight loss surgery. He has excellent bed side manner and is always asking questions to learn more about how I'm feeling and how to help. His nurses are also very sweet, and the dietician was really helpful. My only complaint is that the wait time at the office is often long. I am 16 pounds from my goal weight and couldn't be happier with my results!

Great Doctor!!! Also was able too return too work in 2 weeks with light duty. I have had no issue with my surgery before and after. I DONT HAVE ANY Regrets with him doing my surgery.
