List of Texas Eye Institute's Reviews
I sustained a left eye injury and was able to be seen in a reasonable time frame within a couple days. Was seen by Dr Hipps who saw me years ago for a chalazion that I decided to proceed with an incision and debridement. The chalazion hasn’t come back since.
I do not wish to do so.
All employee that I encountered was kind and polite and very knowledgeable. I appreciated the service that I received and would highly recommend Texas Eye Institute to anyone in need of quality eye care.
Staff are very professional and courteous Dr. Porter is very knowledgeable of his work. He explained to me everything.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
