Dr. Van is the best! As a 20 year patient who he has cured twice (15 years apart) of prostate cancer I recommend him highly. His no nonsense approach to finding the right treatment, clear explanation of disease and procedures, inclusion of family when warranted for care and a great attitude are priceless to recovery.

Excellent physician that spends time and answers all your questions. Very caring and professional. I have practiced medine my self for many years. This Dr was excellent and only treats prostate cancer. Very impressed.

I thought I had written this review earlier when Dr. Van treated me for my prostate cancer. I found him to be most personable and very professional. He answered all of my questions on every visit and especially the questions I had before we started. He runs a very professional shop and is highly recommended. Steve meltzer MD

Dr.Vann is amazing! Sharp, cutting edge, personable and actually answers your questions without beating about the bush! You will not regreat meeting with Dr. Vann...a real “straight shooter” that put my mind at ease about my diagnosis. I’ll sleep much better tonight after meeting with him. Thank you, Dr. Vann!

Approximately 3 years ago I was diagnosed with a very aggressive, advanced, prostate cancer which had penetrated the bladder wall. After interviewing several doctors and treatment plans and facilities (including a national-recognized research hospital), I decided on Dr. Van. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and after several visits, a friend. I have been cancer free for 3 years plus now. One cannot find a more compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. If you are reading this, I'm truly sorry you have cancer but you owe it to yourself and loved ones to at least meet with Dr. Van and discuss your issues. God bless you and Roll Tide!

I was referred to Dr.Van by my excellent urologist, Dr. Rick Goldfarb, for the treatment of my mod't grade prostate cancer. He is an exceptional physician. Careful, thoughtful, compassionate and knowledgeable. Having been around doctors all of these years, I have a good idea about the qualities I want in my physicians and he checks all the boxes in bold print. His radiation unit is staffed by the best and most helpful folks: Kristie, Andy, Amanda, Nicole and Jamie. They are friendly, efficient, flexible and accommodating. Recommended without hesitation. A+ in all regards

Totally unimpressed by his knowledge, his ability to answer questions based on research . His attitude was arrogant and immature and he lacked social skills. My husband had a quite different experience and prognosis from the referring urologist Dr Van contradicted the positive and had trouble reading the report re one or two gleeson 7 . We will not be using this doctor and will get a second opinion came away distressed and confused by his lack of emphathy
