Wesley O. Ekeruo's Online Review Report Card

I had an in office procedure performed by Dr. Ekeruo. He puts off a great confidence in the office visits, but during my procedure I was in a lot of pain. He was aware and did nothing to assist with the pain. Afterwards I stated to his nurse that I was light headed and that I needed water. I blacked out while the nurse went to get me water. From there she was aware of my situation. She advised me to just lay there until I felt comfortable to leave. I later felt comfortable, but I blacked out before I was able to get into the vehicle. My wife got me a wheel chair, wheeled me back up to the office and explained the issue. The got me snacks and let me stay in a room. They never came to check on me and they never followed up with after the procedure to see how I was doing.

He is nice enough but he does not care for his patients. He did not return calls or keep appointments malpractice is consideredas a response to his lack of care after a major surgery infection

I write this 6 months after a successful radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer performed by Dr Ekeruo. Before the operation Dr. Ekeruo had to patience to explain my options and answer why this course of treatment was best recommendation for my circumstances - my age (mid 50's of good health) and prognosis where I had 9 out of 12 of my biopsy samples showing prostate cancer indicating they have diffused throughout the organ even if most were low on the Gleason score. My main concern was the quality of life changes and not so much on the cancer diagnosis. I was hesitant about even having the operation. My post-operation results are a testimonial on Dr Ekeruo's skill as a surgeon - No presence of cancer and as for the lifestyle implications, I was fully functional for sexual activity with my partner relatively early after the surgery recovery and I have no continence problems. For those you reading this and going through similar circumstances as what I did 9 months ago, I'd strongly advocate using Dr Ekeruo as your urologist.

Great doctor and office staff. He's a very thorough doctor willing to answer any and all questions you have. Would highly recommend anyone considering seeing a urologist in the area.

I was a new patient and saw Dr Ekeruo 4 times. 3 times for routine visits. I require 3 prescriptions to remain healthy and alive. Wesley failed 3 of 3 times to prescribe these 3 medications correctly. The fourth visit was a biopsy that went well because it was a surgical procedure and had nothing to do with a prescription. His typical visit has no vitals taken. His attitude is, he is the DR and knows all and you are the patient and are stupid and he has no time to educate. I would never recommend. His communication skills are terrible.

Dr. Ekurou is an outstanding physician, surgeon and human being. As his patient, I can personally attest to his professionalism and surgical skill. He clearly explained to me my options for a particular ailment and the results of the eventual procedure were life changing.
