I have been a patient of Dr. Todd for about 20 years. He’s fantastic! My one star review is due to his staff and a recent interaction with a triage nurse named Holly. I was scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram with Solis a few days ago. To date I’ve had one standard mammogram followed with a MRI mammogram. This diagnostic mammogram is my yearly visit. I was unaware that I needed a drs order for a diagnostic mammogram — my fault for not knowing. Anyway, Holly calls me two days prior to my mammogram to tell me that they cannot sign off on the appt since I have not seen Dr Holt yet for my well women’s check and received the order for the diagnostic mammogram. She said they could try to fit me in the next day. I told her that I’m a teacher and unfortunately wouldn’t be able to make it. She then proceeded to scold me for having all summer off and not taking care of that during my vacation. She said that I “should know better”. Ma’am, I had a procedure done over the summer that prevented me from getting my well women’s exam taken care of. The lack of bedside manner, compassion, and common sense is appalling. I’ll be switching practices.

Dr Todd Holt is the best In Houston! His practice WHCCH, his partners, his team of PA'S, MA's, services on-site, dual locations, have all taken Excellent care of me for over 25 years. Highly recommend Women's Health Care Center of Houston!! Don't listen to the negative posts about this place, they are very misinformed.

Bedside manner is terrible from the front desk and beyond. Left several messages regarding results. No call back for weeks just to find out they left notes on the portal and you have to scheduled a paid visit to discuss results. I’ve never heard that. I feel like that is negligent and greedy. I should’ve read reviews before booking.

Quick to gut you open and take away your birthing experience. The scheduling lady sounds miserable and is rude at times. She’s still there after so many years and so many bad reviews. Called and left three messages for the nurse within a week when I was really pregnant and my calls were never returned. Doctor lied about my birth plan. Traumatic experience. Find another practice.

DONT GO FIND BETTER! The only person i absolutely loved at this office was the midwife nurse Griffith. I never once saw the doctor who was supposed to deliver my baby throughout my entire pregnancy. Midwife Griffith was always on top of everything and got back to me quickly. During delivery nurse Griffith basically delivered my baby and was the one to stitch me up/ help me after delivery. I did not see Dr. Holt until the very end and mind you that was the first time I ever saw him. The front desk is rude and dismissive and the insurance lady Cynthia has a very demeaning tone. I received a bill from them by mail, when I called to see why I was being charged for the services Cynthia told me that my insurance would not cover because I already had that service done that year, which was NOT the case. After they refused to contact my insurance (which is her job) I contacted them and they assured me that they should not have been charging me for these services and that my insurance DOES cover the entire bill. Finally a month later after my bill was all sorted out, I call to try and schedule a routine OB appointment. Front desk picks up and tells me “oh it says not to schedule you”. How professional, right? Avoid this office you will find better. There are few employees in there that actually love their job.
