I've been seeing her regularly for a number of years, to help me manage blood sugar and total health. She is quite rigorous, and always prepared. Pleasant personality and good communication. I think Fondren Clinic is well run, waits are rarely long; and her personal staff is competent and responsive.

Seeing Dr Monla for several years for Diabetes. Am very pleased with her approach to treating my diabetes. We have good rapport and communicate well. She is thorough in checking me for various diabetes issues including my feet. At her request I also get an annual eye exam to see if diabetes has affected my eyes. I am able to communicate directly with her staff to get medicine refills when I need them, as well as getting electronic bloodwork lab orders. I see her once a quarter at the Fondren Orthopedic Clinic.

I am beyond frustrated with this practice. I’ve had to wait over two hours each time for my last two appointments, no one ever returns my phone calls and I’ve been trying to cancel an appointment. First call, got hung up on, and last two calls said to leave a message and they will call back. I already know that isn’t going to happen. If you value your time, I highly suggest you find another doctor.

Dr. Monla is very caring and exceptionally smart. She has helped me manage thyroid issues as well as osteoporosis/osteopenia, while being aware of my other medical issues, which are many. I feel very comfortable with her advice and choices of treatment. Highly recommend!
