Manuel Davila M.D's Online Review Report Card

So sad that I'm having to write the review. I have been a patient of Dr. Davila since I was 11 years old due to being diagnosed with eczema. I am now almost 24 years old and having to leave his practice due to his front desk staff. They all feel so entitled to just talk to patients however they want or feel like. Every month I would call each woman would speak to me unprofessionally wether I was trying to make an appointment or had a question about my medication, blood results, or sending a message to the nurse. It's sad to say that this clinic has now developed a low class customer service for loyal and new patients. Despite of lack of customer service, I would most definitely say Dr. Davila is one the best dermatologist in the Houston area. I will forever thank him for his meaningful time and worries about my skin problems. However, the stressful and disrespectful treatment the front staff have given me is no longer worth the time anymore.

A good dermatologist can be hard to find, I've seen some doozies in the past.For me, the search is over. This doctor is excellent in every way. Highly recommended.

Have gone to Dr. Davila for years, and I find him always willing to spend as much time with me as I need. You'll find he has a very nice personality, and knows what he is doing.

Dr. Davila is an excellent doctor and I highly recommend him. Not only is he a brilliant physician, he truly cares and shows compassion to his patients. He doesn't rush through examinations and is always willing to answer any and all questions. If you need to see a dermatologist, there is none better than Dr. Davila!

Dr. Davila is a good doctor if you don't mind waiting a LONG time to get in. I seldom get in less than half an hour after my appointment time and an hour is not uncommon. Just left his Astoria office because they told my wife that Dr. Davila probably wouldn't be able to see her for her 9:15 appointment until at least 11:00. As we had to attend a funeral at 12:00 this was not acceptable. On his sign in list you see three people signing in for the same appointment time. Money rules.

Great Dermatologist. Fantastic Staff, Friendly too! I recommend all my Family Members, and only my best friends to Dr Davila. I also get great results from his cosmetic injections.

I have been seeing Dr. Davila for a few years. He is by far one of the best dermatologists around. Easy to talk to, answers your questions, his staff are very nice. Getting an appointment doesn't take for ever. I love him as my doctor!

I've been going to Dr. Davila for a few years now and I adore him! I can't say enough nice things about him. He's so kind and compassionate. He has a very calming nature. I've had the worst skin of my life this past year. It's so frustrating that I'm 40 and I'm still dealing with bad skin! Dr. Davila understands my frustration and wants to help me get my nice complexion back. He has been very empathetic, patient and understanding. I really like the staff at Southeast Dermatology too. Ashley has always been so sweet and helpful anytime I called about a prescription. She responds to her voice messages quickly, usually within 24 hours. Meranda is friendly and helpful as well. I had a spot on my arm that I was concerned about. I already had an appointment scheduled weeks away but she helped me find an earlier appointment which I appreciate so much! I am a redhead with ultra-fair skin so I have to be very proactive about any suspicious spots! I had to get a biopsy yesterday. Dr. Davila was so gentle that I literally barely felt it! And he actually scraped a piece of my skin off. It didn't hurt at all! That's impressive. If you are looking for a dermatologist in the Pasadena area, Dr. Davila is a great choice! Southeast Dermatology also has another office location and Dr. Davila goes to both locations.

Some people mistake straightforwardness with rudeness and disrespect. Dr Davila was awesome, knowledgeable, swift in his decisions and accomodating. I would recommend his setvices to anybody that needs oral surgery.

Dr. Davila is a competent and very kind young doctor. Several members of my family go to him, including myself. If he is not available for a week or two, we will wait to see him. Even though there are several other doctors on staff at both clinics, we prefer to see him because he is such a good dermatologist.
