I have seen Dr. Magee for over 4 years. She seems very knowledgeable. Her staff and her were friendly and care about patients.

Update to recent 1 star review made after we had been waiting 1 hour. My dad ended up waiting 1 1/2 hours to see Dr. Magee. He wore long-sleeves & was still cold in outer waiting room, but could have brought jacket. Shown into exam room @ 1 hr & 5 mins., the young lady wasn't apologetic at all & actually argumentative over location of our pharmacy. She got behind my dad while taking something out of a drawer under the table he was on & quickly says, "take off all your clothes except your underwear & open this to the back" & practically throws a small thin paper sheet at him before leaving. I had to call her back in & ask her to repeat what she said since neither my dad or I understood her. I asked for a robe for my dad. She said they didn't have any. So I reached in the drawer & pulled out 3 more of the thin, paper sheets. My dad kept his pants on & held 2 sheets to his naked front & 2 to his back. He shivered for 25 more mins. until Dr. arrived. Dr. did a good job but RIDICULOUS!

Overall, my few visits with Dr. Magee were average to below average. She was not very personable (my opinion) during my visits with her. If you're looking for a dermatologist, I would recommend trying other doctors at her location or searching outside of that particular Crenshaw office.
