List of David A. Prier's Reviews
I LOVE Dr.Prier! He takes the time to sit and explain to me anything I do not understand. He's kind and genuinely cares about his patients!
I love Dr. Prier, he's been my doctor for literally my entire life. His staff is COMPLETELY useless, though. I've been in their waiting room for five and a half hours waiting on a prescription, and I've decided I'm going to spend the rest of the time I'm in here writing negative reviews. Gentleman in here with me told the idiot receptionist he's been waiting for 45 minutes and gestured to the sign that says "please inform the receptionist if you've been waiting for more than 20 minutes past your appointment", and she told him to go sit back down and they'd get to him when they get to him. This is a normal occurrence here. I have a controlled substance prescription which they refuse to use the DEA compliant e-filing system for (no doubt his staff is too incompetent to sort it out), so I have to drive from a few counties over to get the paper prescription, which they NEVER have ready.
Dr.Prier has been our family Doctor for 25 plus years and has never let us down. He’s bed side manners are excellent and he is so educated and resourceful and compassionate. These are only s few of many reasons we respect, trust and love him. We refuse to ever change Physicians! Thank God for this healer on earth!
Dr Prier has been my doctor for literally my entire life, and I love him. His staff is COMPLETELY useless. I have a prescription for a controlled substance, and his staff are apparently too incompetent to figure out the DEA-approved system of remotely sending it to pharmacies. I have to drive fifty plus miles every month to get it. I'm writing this review because I've been in their empty waiting room for over five and a half hours and they have not yet been able to provide me with that single piece of paper, saying they are "too busy". This happens with almost every receptionist they hire, almost every time. The gentleman before me reported he has been waiting for 45 minutes past his appointment, and the sign says to inform the receptionist if you wait past 20 minutes. He was told to sit back down and they'll deal with it when they deal with it. The woman after me was sent an incorrect prescription and the receptionist refused to relay a message to the doctor. This kind of thing happens all the time here, and I'll keep filling the internet with these until they get my prescription or my phone dies. The latter is far more likely.
I was just told that they weren’t accepting new patients with medicaid, not new patients in general. I feel that was odd and somewhat discriminatory.
Dr. Prior truly takes time with each patient and gets to know them. You aren’t rushed in and out, like so many other offices do. He is such a KIND man and phenomenal doctor. We will be Dr. Prior patients for life.
My children's dr is simply amazing, she's never in a rush and I don't feel like I have to rush my conversation about my children. My kids love they're dr so much!!! The best part is that they're so friendly.
As a group they run 30 mins to 60 mins behind. They take the medicare patients last no matter what your appointment time was. . The receptionist non medical does the triage. Dr Prier's receptionist is especially rude and pretends you are raising your voice on your cell phone and hang sup on you when making an appointment. Overall Dr Prier is a nice guy but the staff is untrained, rude and lazy. Do not go there if you can avoid it.
If I could give him a "6", I would!! A wonderful physician that has taken care of me for over 20 years. I lost my coverage for about a year without Dr Prier and it was my worst year, but still Dr Prier took care of me. I am so blessed...
Dr. Prier is Really Nice, Great Doctor, Not really busy Waiting Room.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
