List of Emergency Room - St. Luke's Health - Huntsville's Reviews
The staff is overall pleasant but I will not ever return. First, a child had an accident in the lobby and the lady behind the glass had been notified, well over an hour later the mess was still on the floor and the lobby smelled. Secondly, I don't feel like my concerns for my child were taken seriously. "It could be" "maybe don't do". My daughter was still miserable days after and I feel like if they had actually listened and not assumed she could've been helped.
I was the only patient there n it still took them at least 1 hr to call me back. The Nurse was very nice but they didnt do anything for me my toe was infected the dr acted like she was afraid to get close to it n look at it. I think if u have a scrape on your arm this the place to go cause they will not give u medication for strep throat or anything major. So I call this the bandage clinic!!!
At first glance it would seem the staff is eager to help their patients, but it is all a scam. They keep you in a room hours on end without checking on you until it’s time to leave. The computers were down and what should have taken a couple of hours turned into an all-night affair. The only reason I’m giving an extra star is because I went in with chest pains and the receptionist did her job to make sure I was promptly attended to in time.
Very well maintained and everyone seemed genuinely concerned for my well-being
The doctor was nice and facility was well kept. Other than that there were quite a few wrongs. I went in for asthma attack. The nurse forgot to put albuterol in the machine and put the mouthpiece on incorrectly. The doctor finally came in to administer a real treatment. Thennnnnn nobody came back for over an hour. I think they forgot about me? I needed prescription refills and I was hoping for steroids. Yet, I was able to walk out with nobody noticing because I’m not sure where they all went? I ended up in the ER down the street a few hours later because these guys did basically nothing for me. Truly the staff was nice, which the other ER lacked.... but the money I spent going there was pointless.
Don't go here with no insurance.I thought this was an "urgent care" type facility. I know it's an ER affiliated with St. Luke's, but I never thought it would cost as much as it did. I took someone up there who doesn't have insurance–trying to help them.At check in, I asked the girl if it would cost thousands, and I kind of laughed. She said, it could, but that really depends on what's needed. Well, what we needed wasn't much so I thought maybe a hundred or a couple hundred. I have insurance so clearly I don't know what's up for anyone else.I should have taken her at her word. We were there for an infected sore. The doctor literally poked the patient, told him it was an ingrown hair or bug bite and gave a prescription for an antibiotic. The bill was over $4700!! I don't have exact numbers because I don't know where the receipt is, but it was over $4700. I thought there was a typo. There was no surgery. No equipment used. WHAT?!?!?!We paid $50 toward the bill, and the receptionist said they'd bill the rest.I could literally pay $5k cash and have a legit tummy tuck, and these people want to charge that much to poke you in the belly and tell you that you need an antibiotic.BEWARE!!!! I will also be contacting some local congress people because this just doesn't seem right. No wonder people who don't have insurance only go to ER's or just don't ever get help. You try to pay cash or expect a fair price, and something like this happens.Perhaps it's my own fault for being naïve, but never did I ever think cash price for what was done (nothing) would cost that much...even at a satellite ER.
So much nicer than the other hospital we had been going to. Friendly staff, very quick service, the air conditioning works, and the lobby and rooms were much nicer.
Very professional staff.100% recommend.
From my first phone call to ask a question about insurance ,to checking in , to ALL the staff , nurses, and Dr.Parks the visit was great. Everyone was very nice, very professional , and did not rush my husband or I through anything we discussed or questioned . Thank you all for the great patient service this morning .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
