Dr. Parmar did my Robotic Sigmoid Colectomy surgery, he took the time to explain the procedure to me, and what to expect and about the recovery time. He really cares about his patients and would call and check on me every day when I was in the hospital. He also came to the hospital every day to personally check on me. After surgery he continued to check in to see how I was doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Parmar as your surgeon.

TLDR: He is amazing and I highly recommend him. Whole Review: starting in 2010, I begin to have a severe abdominal pain about once a month. I would be in agony for about a day or so. Lots of doctors just told me to keep taking more and more fiber because I was too young to have some of the complications that would likely be responsible for that kind of pain. Dr. Parmar was the first one to really dig deeper. And as a result he found I needed to have part of my colon removed. Here I am, over a decade after that surgery and my life is completely different. I have absolutely no more abdominal pain, and a lot of the other problems I experienced because of that long-standing secondary infection have gone away. If it would not have been for Dr. Parmar truly listening to me and digging deeper to find answers I don’t know where I would be today. To give you a little bit more context on my recommendation, I hold a PhD and focus most of my research and teaching on medical communication. I study the good, the bad, and the ugly surrounding the communication that happens in hospitals and clinics. Dr. Parmar is everything you want in a surgeon because he communicates so clearly and extensively. Most people involved with medical communications will tell you that surgeons are the worst at communicating with their patients. This is partially due to patient load, but also due to a perfectionist personality that tends to run in that line of work. Dr. Parmar humbly listens to you, and works with you to figure out the root cause of your problem, allowing you to ultimately make the decision with him simply being your guide. As a professional, I can give him no higher recommendation.

Dr Parmar did a hernia repair for my mother recently & went above and beyond for the insurance department to get it covered & did a amazing job with the procedure itself we are very pleased with the entire process with his office staff and his bedside manner.
