Took an elderly friend to the ER. 2 broken bones, she was in tremendous pain. Took 6 hours to complete. She was shaking and in tears. Still, they had no rooms open, so we waited and waited. They messed up the prescription with CVS. Took us Total 4 hours on hold on phone with them and CVS to get it sorted. Not a great experience.
We lost a great man in my father in law last night to COVID 19. MCLC was fantastic in patient care and in compassion, respect and patience with our grieving family. The staff interaction was second to none as even the COO, Carolyn Hunter and the CNO Chase Pederson were involved in this process. That is called "Above and Beyond" the expected care. Thanks to everyone from the minute we walked through the door a week until we left the facility and a special thanks to his nurses, Valerie and Shiney in the ICU.Mark Bennett

I was a patient a few weeks ago at the hospital in the emergency room. You looked my eye. You're the white doctor with the blue eyes. I think you're handsome and I would like to know if you're single. You can check out my Facebook : Kandace Love. You can message me if you're interested
my wife had our daughter the day before we stayed that night, last night and today that we went out and we are already very happy with our daughter at home, without a doubt we were never in the hospital they treated us so well that we never felt we were In the hospital, the doctors, the nurses, those in the kitchen and cleaning area are incredible ... without a doubt the medical city of the hills is the best hospital that this great nation can have thanks for everything
I was told by the doctor's office that I would have to authorize my release of my own records. I called medical records to find out just what to doAnd I did it only to be told that it would take 10 business days to get themAnd if my doctors office would have requested them it would take 24 hrs. So I went to the doctors office and was right there when they called and the office was told it would be 5 business days. Lets not mention that the first girl hung up on us when we were trying to find out what to do. I guess you could die and they wouldnt be of any help cause it would take 5 to 10 days for someone to come help. This hospital has gone way down since I had surgery 4 yrs ago. I will not tell anyone to go there. Terrible service and workers
85 percent of labor and delivery nurses at the hospital don't care or don't know what they are doing. Delivered baby and had to stay 2 nights. Asked for a breast pump numerous times and never got one. Asked about baby being circumcised numerous times to numerous nurses. The second day asked again a(about circumcision) when they brought in discharge papers. That nurse went to check on it. After waiting for 4-5 hours someone came in and let us know that no one was available to do the circumcision. Now we are having trouble finding a doctor that will do it after being released from hospital. Never Again!Medical City Dallas labor and delivery is top notch. They actually have caring nurses and even have breast pumps in each room. Coffee, water is available. They even circumcise on premises before releasing the child!!!!!!
Very nice facility that helped me out with a broken ankle. The wait wasn't long at all and everyone got to work with me quickly. Working with insurance to get this paid was a real pain, but the staff was professional and I can blame them for that,
Compassionate and professional staff.I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the staff. From the front desk, to the nurses and Doctor, Enggano. Each and every one of them was compassionate, courteous, professional, and made my time here, as comfortable as possibly. Thank you for your professionalism and friendliness, you guys are awesome!!! :)
Do not go here. I went in for High Blood pressure and left with more elevated pressure than it was before I went in. They treated me for a headache. Then afterwards I received upwards of a $5000 bill which they would not work with me and immediately sent my account to collections. So sad. They just want money they do not care about patient care.!!!!!!
My nurse Bobby is the best!!! This was a crazy long experience but Bobby made me feel so at ease and had me laughing at the end! My PA Jessie stayed after her shift just to help me!! Who does that now days?? No One!!! My paramedic Mickey was great as well!! This place stays busy with the growing community around it. However they try their best to get you handled and out. If you have an issue such as a long wait. Let a nurse know and they will make sure you are focused on to the best of their ability.Posted for E Thomas

I had a visit to the ER after I suddenly lost feeling and mobility to my arm and hand while at work. This was my first time at this hospital and I have to say it was absolutely horrible. I find it hard to believe that a hospital can deliver babies, complete hip replacements and can treat spine injuries has no MRI machine as I was told. Ironically, their website says they do, go figure. My care consisted of them looking at the top of my hand visually, flipping it over and looking at my palm then sending me home with prescriptions. You would think that would be the end of my story but, no. Later, I received a bill in the mail. I look up my EOB from the insurance company and there is a charge for "surgery". Shocked by this, I call the insurance company and was told the code used was "application of a splint", which never happened. The insurance company and I conferenced the company who'd billed me which apparently is a third party to the hospital who in turn said they will review and get back to me in writing within 30 days. Well over 30 days and I receive nothing. I follow up and then told the charges are staying because it was in my chart that I was given a splint. This is FRAUD. You cannot charge for services not rendered. I will be proceeding with other options to rectify this.
Very caring doctors here. They take the time to listen and seem compassionate. The staff is also very kind!
This hospital has been very good to me and my family. All 4 of my children were born here and the experience was fantastic each time. Our doctors are also in the same building. We have used the emergency room once and there was no waiting to be seen. Awesome staff.
On Tuesday, 10/17/2017 I went to Medical City Las Colinas E.R. I was experiencing severe high blood pressure, severe headache, and mild chest pain. I felt horrible. Upon arrival to the E.R. there was no one waiting in the waiting room so I was immediately taken to the back. Upon assessment, my blood pressure was shown to be 218/111. They performed an EKG, chest x-ray and CT scan on me and gave me blood pressure medication to start bringing my pressure down. At first I was pleased with the care that I was receiving until the Dr. walked in. His name is Dr. Kennedy. He walked into the room with hostility towards me. It was evident from the first moment. He asked me "What are you doing here? Why didn't you go to your PCP for this? I looked over your records from two years ago and your heart was just fine. I don't believe there's nothing wrong with your brain or your heart!" This Doctor showed no empathy, no concern, and no professionalism toward me in any way. I am a Home Care Registered Nurse myself, and could never fathom one of my own patients or one of family members go through this type of treatment. I will NEVER go to this E.R. again, and will not recommend this E.R. to any of my patients, my family, my friends, my colleagues or my neighbors. BEWARE!
I spoke to a man named Courtney in the department that sets up appointments for existing patients and he told me he couldn't set up an appointment for my son until after I spoke to billing. Mind you this was after 10 min of speaking with him , 15 min of being placed on hold then not even checking in with me and then he hung up on me. I called back and got him again. I asked him why he hung up on me and kept me on hold for so long and he said he was having phone issues and said he'd need to transfer me to billing. I was then on hold for 8 min being "transferred". I hung up and called billing myself and reached someone right away. They told me they weren't sure why he said I needed to speak to them before setting up an appointment and advised that I give that department a callback to find out why. So for the third time that I called back and thank God I reached someone else other than Courtney and the nice lady was able to set up an appointment right away. Such a horrible experience with that guy.
If waiting for extended periods of time is not an issue or if you aren't concerned with any type of direction or straightforward answers during your visit, then boy ohh boy... This is just the place for you, your friends & your nearest loved ones...... I would rather wait in the longest line at 6 Flags in the middle of scorching hot summer day than torture myself with another agonizing trip back to this place. It's Monday, I get it.. Hey we all get a little bored from time to time, but that does not give the staff the permission to sit around and with their thumbs up their asses. There are patients, with real problems, so get your shit together and do your jobs. This goes to you- nurses, staff and "Doctors." I was in real pain with my withdrawals from alcohol and they wouldn't even give me the time of the day to listen. They wouldn't give me one little .5 lorazepam to help with my anxiety, shakes, nausea etc etc etc... Meanwhile the 5 hours it took for them to draw one sample of blood so they could look at my liver enzymes, turned into 4 hours and 58 minutes of joking and playing grab ass with each other. Not acceptable or professional at all. Hands down one of the worst hospitals in the DFW area and it's said because I used to go there and recommend people to do the same... That was before it all went to shit. Save yourself the time, struggle and headache and AVOID GOING HERE AT ALL COSTS!!!!
