I am ambivalent about this visit, when I arrived the person who checked me in stressed me out which is something that shouldn't happen when a patient is visiting a cardiologist. I was about 8 minutes late understanding the 10 minute rule, I go to work at 5:45am, left at 8:50am to drive from Denton to Irving and be told they may not be able to see you today because you are late which was not true based the 10 minute standard. Dr Engleman seems to be very knowledgeable and is someone who will really be able to help me however his bedside manner needs work. As a new patient with health concerns I had questions that I wasn't given a chance to ask because he was in and out in a span of about 5 minutes. I brought test results from my last physical that I wanted to ask questions about but felt like I was holding him up because it was so rushed. I've never experienced anything like that at Healthcare Associates in the over 25 years I have been a patient there, hopefully my next visit will be better and more productive.

Updated each other on progress. Started new prescription and finally seeing my blood pressure readings coming down. We got the visit done quickly and I was on my way.

Dr Engleman has been a great cardiologist. Very attentive to my health by making sure that I’m taking pre attentive care so things don’t get out of hand as I get older in age. His undivided attention to my questions, as well as his answers is what has kept me coming back. Coming from south Dallas May be a drive but his office and staff and their level of care makes the drive well worth it.
