Very unprofessional, no consideration of your time, pain management, etc. Staff is subpar. If not for the affiliation with the ER that forced this practice on me, I would suggest going ANYWHERE ELSE!

I had a good experience with Dr. Muncy except for a long wait time. I am a retired nurse and don't like being rushed which was my previous experience with another ortho. He explained my condition and offers conservative care which is what I wanted. Amelia was very sweet and took my previous x-ray reports so one was not necessary. Imand will order my gel and was efficient. If I have any criticism it would be the check-in wait time. There were 2 ladies working upon my arrival but never got up to help me so I stood and waited for a lady to come. That doesn't make you feel welcome. I will continue to see Dr. Muncy because he listened and spent time with me rather than rushing out the door. I understand Drs. are busy then don't schedule 5 people at the same time.

Dr. Muncy was extremely nice. His bedside manner was wonderful and he spent a lot of time with both me and my husband. HOWEVER, when he replaced my hip, he fractured my femur. I kept insisting something was wrong and he said it wasn't. Six months later the whole femur had to be replaced. Then he replaced my knee. Again I said there was something wrong. When he insisted everything was okay, I sought a second opinion. Ended up having to replace part of the faulty knee replacement. I love him as a person... but I changed doctors.

Best surgeon in Big D Texas!!! Dr Muncy uses a special machine with GPS which makes precise cuts and means quick healing! My right knee healed in 3 weeks....no more walker or cane!! Second knee took me 2 weeks of physical therapy to put down walker and cane. I highly recommend Dr Michael Muncy D.O.My husband just had his first knee replaced and cant wait to get back toIrving to get the left knee done!! Dr Muncy will not disappoint you!Thanks Doc you Da Bomb Diggity

A doctor who you can trust and rely upon! The only orthopedist for total knee replacement I will ever go to! My GPS surgery was terrific! I didn’t have to “work” for my leg flexion or extension! It was perfect!!! So happy I interviewed 4 doctors in the Dallas metroplex before I chose him!You won’t regret it! Dr. Muncy is 5+ stars!!And if this helps any, I am a retired nurse of 30+ years so I pretty well know my doctors from working with them! No don’t about it folks, he is the doctor to choose!

Made appointment, went in xrays were taken. Had never met the doctor. He walked in room, first words out of his mouth were you need both knees replaced. Hi to you too doc. No beside manner at all. Said I would be in hospital at least three days. Found new surgeon, he explained options and choices to me. Had left knee replaced. In and out of hospital one day. Do not need other knee replaced. Surgeon said did worst knee first, figured I had lot of miles left in the other one. Run away from Muncy.
