List of Subir S Bhatia's Reviews
I have inflammation in my eyes and have been treated by my optometrist and ophthalmologist in LA for many years with limited success. I moved to Dallas a couple of years ago and was referred by my neighbor to Dr. Bhatia. He is excellent. He answered all of my questions and also let me know why I keep having the inflammation. I have had to wait for him on some occasions but that is the price you pay sometimes for a good doctor who is in demand. He has really helped me improve and given references for other doctors when I needed in the area which I have found to be very helpful. It is clear he cares about his patients! His staff is very helpful as well.
My sons and I have been going to Dr. Bhatia since 2009 and he has been amazing the whole time and always tells me everything that is going on with my eyes (I have diabetes). Both of my parents had their cataract surgeries done with Dr. B and have had stellar results. The front desk staff are very friendly. I had to reschedule twice and it was no problem. Highly recommend.
about the patients time and does not even have the patience or time to explain the tests that he is asking to be done . When I brought that up , he was super arrogant and just. Refunded my money after dilating my eyes . Being a doctor is not just about your medical skills but also ethics . He might be. A great doctor , but if he is a HORRIBLE HUMAN soul , it just ruins the time and mental peace of patients who look up to get the care and guidance .

Went in for a "clean up" of scar tissue from prior cataract surgery. I am now seeing as well or better than I did after the initial surgeries!! Dr. Bhatia is great!
Dismissive and incorrect diagnosis. An overall bad experience.
This doctor totally failed me. They did not return my call when I had an emergency with chemical burn in my eye so I ended up getting treatment in the ER. When I followed up with him as the ER instructed, he was dismissive of my injury and said it was just too weird and that I had a virus in my eye and prescribed a lengthy course of anti-viral. My family and my pcp encouraged me to get a 2nd opinion from another eye doctor, and the second opinion doctor, upon examination, noted I had corneal abrasions from the chemical but no virus in the eye.
I have found him to be dismissive.
Dr. Bhatia is the best doctor I’ve seen. He’s holistic, thinking through not only what he sees, but digging in to how my whole health is impacting my eyes. Over 5 years of being his patient, I truly trust him and his opinions.
This Dr's office will not give you your records as a patient. According to them, they are a paperless office, they say because of HIPPA rules they cannot email my own records to me and request I pay $50 to get paper copies. This is the most ridiculous and outrageous thing I've ever heard from a treatment facility.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
