List of Vip Living Centers- Irving Tx's Reviews
They took wonderful care of my mother who was bedridden for the last two years. Never smelled like care facility. Also we're very helpful when I'd call about her to check up. Easy to handle payment and other assorted costs which came up.
VIP took care of my brother in law for over 10 years until he went to be with the Lord. Because of their consistent, wonderful, diligent and skilled care under John & Jillian Ross, he was able to live as long as he did to be a comforting presence to his family. He was in the best place he could be to receive the best care.
This place was the home of my family member for almost 13 years. I cannot say enough good things about VIP living centers. The staff here goes above and beyond to care for each resident and family member. They truly care for each resident as their own family member. There's always a sense of joy and peace each time I visited.
When my niece brought me to VIP and I talked with Jillian. I really cried, I thought this was the answer to my prayers. Her kindness and love, she and John gave to my husband was God's love. I have no words to say thanks but, I asked God to do it for me. I hope my husband in heaven gives the blessings from God's mercy over VIP Living Center.
They cared for my mom from '06 until she passed in '09, welcoming my dad to visit whenever he wished, loving on both of them and the family... now they are caring for and loving my dad as he approaches his 101st birthday ❤
It has been very interesting to live at VIPliving center for the past seven years! It has been a time to get use to giving up your freedom and becoming just a number in a bed, and Learning to remember a lot of new names, just as your memory has begun to play tricks on you. But this is overcome, by the ambience of the place and the personnel in charge. We are housed in an actual house that can accomadate up to twelve, and has a fish pond near the rear PAtio! It is owned by a couple who live across the Street and have run VIp Living center for 18 years! We call ourselves a family, and would look forward to welcoming you to our family!
My father was at VIP for 1 year. The care he received was very compassionate & well attended to his needs. John & Jillian communicate with the family during the most difficult times of life when adult children are making very hard decisions to care for an elderly parent. VIP is a very comfortable home setting when you have to move a parent out of their own personal home. I feel the care is very good due to the number of residents to staff ratio. Juanita, Bertha, Sherry & Gabbie (and all others - sorry I forget the names) do excellent work and attend to each resident with a touch of very personal care!!! The staff gets to know the residents very well. Families spend a lot of time around the dining room table getting to know everyone. The residents get spoiled with the ice cream treats, fresh fruits & veggies! The holidays are a festive time of year with lots of social interaction for the residents. The home & staff are very warm & inviting. My aunt was also a previous resident of VIP. So how much more can I say being a REPEAT CUSTOMER!!!
We have used VIP Living Center for long term care for my aunt and my father. I know Texas ranks very low in nursing home care. We wanted the best possible care for our family and we visited every care center in and around Irving, TX. Our first rule of thumb was if we walked into a facility and we wouldn't stay there, why would we place our family there? I can truthfully tell you that myself and my sister are probably the most demanding clients they have ever had. The care there is excellent. It is not the most fancy facility, but the staff gives excellent care and you can visit your loved one as much as you want whenever you want. We checked on our aunt and dad everyday 7 days a week. They do well feed and bathe their patients. This does not happen in all other facilities. The staff can be called at anytime with questions or suggestions. It is a family style atmosphere and I believe that is best. It is the next best thing to having your family member at home. I have been in healthcare 30 years and if I needed a facility, I would certainly not hesitate to go there.
VIP is a wonderful, caring place. Other residents are long term, but my brother needed hospice, and though he stayed there for only six weeks, it was amazingly beneficial to him and to our family. He was dying of colon cancer, yet they were able to clear up bed sores that had developed before he came. Our family was able to come and go as much as we needed to. We always felt welcome, and all questions that we had were thoroughly answered. It seemed that my brother’s days were lengthened and made more happy. In the time that has passed since then, when we think of those days, we are saddened by his passing, but those memories are brightened by knowing that he was in a place that felt like home.
A friend told me about the great care her mother received at VIP Living Center. As a result, both of my parents were given loving care and individualized attention from the staff. The word "staff" doesn't do them justice as they are more like a family. I actually miss going there because they were so nice! Plus, my parents enjoyed the home like environment over a more "traditional" assisted living facility. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a secure, loving and safe place for your loved ones.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
