Medexpress Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

Called in as a last resort for my daughter to get a physical done for school. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment, the lady on the phone said they do walk-ins but I could also schedule an appointment, so that's what I did. Fast forward to today, we arrived 10 mins before the scheduled appointment, sat in the waiting room for 20 mins, they finally called us back and we are now sitting in another room in the back going on 30 mins now. I have somewhere to be and they are just dilly dallying around. I can here them out in the hallway having non-chalant conversations about the toilets and how they won't flush but the girl isn't a "plumber" so it's not her problem. My daughter has a school event she has to be to at 6:30pm and it is currently 6pm. We've been here over an hour now.

Service today has been very slow! You’d be seen quicker at Ben Taub! Disappointing to pay cash at Urgent Care and have to wait when there’s 2 people ahead of you. 🤬😡

This is the worst they do not have qualified doctors the just guess diagnosis and do not do test before giving out prescriptions. My daughter went there and they diagnosed her with gastroenteritis. She went home and took the medicine and after three days she was not feeling better and went to the er and was diagnosed with gullies Barnes syndrome which is a rare and dilabatinv disease and now she cannot walk and her entire body is numb because she was not treated right away .do not go to this place horrible experience because they did not know what they are doing and probably big qualified to treat people.

I came here back in May 2023. The doctor and nurse were really nice, but my problem is that it is August, and I am still paying bills. I had 2 tests for the same thing in my bill, and according to the billing department, they said it was two different things. Now, I am being charged again for other things that I already paid for, and they refused to send me a detailed bill of the things that I already paid for. These people are thieves, and they get an attitude when you question them.

Very helpful and fast, post covid anyway. And to be fair, during covid - was crazy wherever you went. I'm thankful for this place.

The ladies at the front are extremely unfriendly and rude, in addition I was literally the ONLY person in the waiting area and I waited exactly 33 mins before I was called

I visited the MedExpress today because my daughters have swollen eyes, sore throat, headache, chest pain and by my surprise they the person who treated us told us just give to her Benadryl really ?? now my daughter at this time 3:42am can’t sleep she have more pain, vomiting and we have to go somewhere else and pay again for a service that they could not offer properly. Please do not visit this place, they do not have qualified people or doctors. Everything is running by nurse, recommendations for this place please at least one doctor for see patient every shift. Inclusive he saw the red throat and the ears with water even so he could not prescribe antibiotics?, just saying Benadryl?, I am not a doctor but those symptoms were for prescription antibiotics minimum requirements. I know something for sure I will never go back again no matter if I just 5 minutes distance away from my house, so if someone asking about this place my opinion is don’t waste your time and money.

FRAUD!!!!! Do not come here. I have charges on my credit card on a day I never visited. I continue to get notices even though I haven't gone in. I had to report to fraud department and change information. They are no help at all. Please go to nearby urgent cares instead. These bad reviews are too consistent.
