List of Next Level Urgent Care's Reviews
Do not recommend this location to do your COVID testing first, the front desk is very unprofessional. Will not be returning
Tried to schedule an appointment with no response from urgent care, left a call back number and 2 hrs later no call. Very poor service and no concern for their customers! I wouldn’t recommend any of their facilities!
Was told i owed money when i have insurance that already took care of whatever the charge yet were still requiring me to pay them.I had to call urgent care’s billing department myself just to be told what I already knew & what i told them. My insurance already paid for it. Meaning I could’ve been seen. This location needs to try training their staff better. This situation was suspicious and unprofessional. I hope they don’t this to other customers it seems like another way to get money from people who don’t know better.
Not happy with result reporting timeline. I went to next level urgent care for Covid-19 PCR testing. It has been more than 24 hours and I have still not received my results. In this day and age this is not acceptable. Staff who took my sample were nice and professional.
Came to next level urgent care in Katy Texas, they told me I was logged in and they would let me know when when I would come back in. About an hour before they close, I have been waiting for 3 hrs in the parking lot, they contacted me to tell me I wouldnt be seen today!! WTF, if they would have told me that 3 hrs ago, I would have went somewhere else!!!
This place has the worst staff. Who Really don't know what they doing. And keep trying to charge my credit card for the same visit i went to months ago. And that I have already paid. And I wasn't even given an answer to this 1,200$ visit and is still adding to it -_-
They will not tell you if your insurance is out of network. That was terrible.
As a Doctor of Public Health (Dr.PH), I have spent the last thirty years of my professional career advocating and encouraging people to seek preventative care to prevent the worsening of any possible health conditions. The horrible customer service experience that I received today at the katy fort bend location leaves me professionally embarrassed for the first time in my career. I scheduled an on-line appointment to seek treatment for a sinus infection that was on its way to progressing into bronchitis. I know this because I have sought treatment for my allergy induced bronchitis at this location multiple times in the past. The increasing infection made me particularly concerned because of the current pandemic.I arrived and the waiting room was filled with about 5 or 6 people. I asked how long I would have to wait since I had a scheduled appointment for 10:30 am. I arrived about ten minutes early. I was told by the person who did the check-in (took my id and insurance card) that I would be seen once I completed the paperwork. I was taken to a room and the paperwork came through my cell text. Once I completed the paperwork, an individual (I believe her name is Desiree) came in and took my vitals. She got a medical history and even swabbed my nose for my COVID test. She told me that the provider would be coming in shortly. NO ONE EVER CAME! I was sitting for almost an hour (50 minutes to be exact) and no provider ever came in to provide me with care. When I went out into the waiting room, I observed three providers all sitting and working at computers. Meanwhile, the entire waiting room was empty. I could not believe what had happened. My experience was analogous to the toddler kid that gets left on the back seat of the van and no one takes the time to check all the seats to make sure that there are no sleeping children. Imagine making an appointment and then sitting in a room behind a closed door and you hear a provider going into other closed doors and speaking but no one ever comes to see you as you are also sitting in a room behind closed doors. I have never witnessed such poor health care delivery in my life. I am thankful that I was there for sinus infection and not for something that required advanced intervention. Today’s scenario is consistent with so many other cases whereby patients are found dead in waiting rooms because they required medical intervention and no one provided them with care. When I expressed my anger and discontent over the lack of timely care, I was told that the provider (Alexandra Datillo, I presumed based on the prescription receipt) would see me immediately. I told Ms. Datillo that I had been seen multiple times at this location for my allergies and sinus infections. It quickly became apparent that she lacked the professional maturity and insight to look at my EHR to find out what treatment had been provided to me during my past visits as a basis for her approach with me. Instead, she stood looking like a deer in a headlight as she started guessing at treatment alternatives. I could not believe what was happening. I then informed her of what I needed and she replied by apologetically stating that she would send prescriptions to my pharmacy. She then stated that she would get me a gift card. I have never seen gift cards given out by a medical practice in follow up to poor customer service. It seems as if they know they are going to fail you at service provision so they are prepared to provide you with a gift card. The gift card turned out to be a ten-dollar gift card to chick fil a. Unbelievable. I am not certain what the office dynamics and professional relationship is between Desiree and Ms. Datillo but I definitely got the impression that there was a communication breakdown somewhere in the process. I will never utilize this location again. My experience today has really soured me on the entire Next Level brand. I am not likely to ever use one of their urgent care clinics again. Today’s experience was simply unacceptable!Robin T. Levine MPH, Dr.PH
Nicest, kindest, friendly, helpful, caring....wonderful place
I don't really like writing bad reviews but because it affected my 1 yr old son I feel like I have too. I decided to take my son to this Urgent Care on Saturday because it was close by and I wasn't able to schedule something soon enough with his pediatrician. My son had been extremely fussy, had a high fever of 104, had been vomiting, did not wanna eat and had a rash. They did a COVID & RSV test on him which thankfully both came back negative. Other than the test that they ran they checked his pulse as well as his temp & gave him some Tylenol, the nurse who helped did see the rash on him & said she would let the doctor know to check. When the doctor came in she went over everything that was wrong with him & pretty much said that since he didn't have RSV or COVID nothing was detectable. It was clear that she didn't want to leave me empty handed so she gave me a sheet with the Tylenol dosage that I should be giving him (which I didn't need considering its clearly on the bottle.) I didn't feel reassured so I still took him to his pediatrician on Wednesday because he still wasn't acting himself. After meeting with his pediatrician she let me know that he had 2 ear infections (they didn't check his ears at the Urgent Care), Roseola which is why he had the rash & a stomach flu, he also ended up having over 4 different medications prescribed to him. Although the nurse was super sweet and did what she had to do, the doctor didn't do her job by not properly checking my son.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
