I was looking for a doctor because I was having foot pain, and I’m so glad I came across Texas Foot & Ankle Specialists! Dr. Applegate has excellent bedside manner and great sense of humor. He took the time to thoroughly explain the cause of my foot pain and recommended inserts since I’m on my feet all day. Since following his recommendations, I am no longer having any problems. I highly recommend Dr. Applegate to anyone looking for exceptional foot care in the Katy / Cypress area.

I was under the care of Dr. Philip Applegate for several months and unfortunately, I determined that his care was not for me. While we initially leveraged a non-surgical approach due to my high blood glucose (no fault of his at all) but no plan or strategy in place left me concerned for my foot and ankle. I was in a boot up to my knee from late June until September! I sought a second opinion from another highly recommended Podiatrist, and it was the best decision I could have made. #advocateforyourself

Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Applegate is an expert in establishing that patient doctor rapport and he is very informative. He provides options and draws pictures of the options for a visual. The office was very clean and music was soothing. They are punctual and have early am hours so I did not have to take too much time off from work in the am. I would highly recommend Dr. Applegate and his staff.

Dr. Applegate is the best! My teenager has had recurring toenail issues that have required procedures that have all been unpleasant and never fixed the issue. Dr. Applegate took great care of my son and was so great and reassuring with him throughout the whole procedure. My son hates these procedures but this was by far the most pleasant experience. So glad we found this Dr and group. Everyone in the office is so nice and courteous.

My husband had an in grow for years avoiding the doctors because he feared how bad they would judge. I persuaded him to come here and it was the best. Everyone was friendly and reassured him that they've seen everything and while doing the procedure they were so caring and so clear with instructions. I will say we were there for a long time but the type of care we received we recommend this place to anyone and everyone! This place was clean and well staffed!

I went to see Dr Applegate about a surgery gone wrong. He popped into the room as if on a caffeine overload. He looked at my x-rays of a surgery I had 16months ago and said he would not do surgery again to remove my bunion which was not corrected. These doctors will not talk against another doctor even if they are negligent .My insurance billed me 176.00 for him to tell me about his hunting trip and how the foot ages. Hell I should be sending him a bill for listening to that bull . These doctors in Cinco Ranch are a rip off . 32,000 dollars later and my foot is still messed up! Please don't go to Amy Riedel for foot surgery!

Our appointment was at 9:45, & we were not passed until 25 mins later. The worker they used to translate was very rude & unprofessional. She was not translating what the doctor was saying but what she thought. the doctor was nice but overall we will not be coming back because of the workers attitude.

Dr. Applegate ( Awesome name btw) looks very young but knows his business. He treated an ingrown toenail about two years ago without having to wait for another appointment which was awesome due to the pain. Today I went in for general foot pain and he recommended a custom insert and took the time to explain why it would help and answered all our questions. Sandra from Whataburger!!
